Ubisoft’s For Honor Will Have A Single-Player Mode

For Honor seems like a really interesting new title that is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal. However, it appears that some players thought that this would a MP-only title. Well, that won’t be the case as Stephane Cardin, producer of For Honor, has confirmed that this new upcoming fast-paced, competitive game will feature a full single player mode.

As Stephane Cardin said:

“One of the big questions we receive in feedback is about the solo campaign. We said that we will have a solo campaign, and I can promise you that we will have a solo campaign. It’s one of the key subjects we are working on, on the floor. I can’t wait to show stuff to you guys, and we’ll do it as early as possible, like we did with the multiplayer.”

The concept of the game feels great, however it remains to be seen whether the single-player mode will force gamers to co-op with other gamers or the AI.

  1. I dont care about single player just make it a great online experience like other addicting titles games like dota 2 or league which would never get boring or great online experience like rainbow six siege.

    1. There should be busty maidens at the top of every tower. More gamers will have a reason to climb up those dumb towers.

  2. Could be good, considering that everything else UBI have to offer are walking bombs like Siege, Far Cry 4, The Division, AC: India.

      1. But sir, Far Cry 4 and Far Cry Primal are not the same thing. A real Far Cry game needs guns, bazookas, explosions etc. Primal is set in the stoneage. The Ubi idiot who came up with this Primal idea? He should be stoned! He probably has been smashed with rocks in his head already. Enough of these Assassins creed games same old BS every year with hardly anything new to do, just some monk that snuffs out people in a world where guards suffers from the best amnesia ever!

        1. It’s a new idea, which is fun but YEA, Far Cry in my book, like in yours, needs to badaboom every 1min.

          1. Theres atleast 1 or 2 other stoneage games coming this year, a Far Cry game without guns is like a Rambo movie without machineguns. Just look at youtube gameplay and most give up saying its too boring!

    1. I was in the closed Alpha. It is extremely good, I was quite shocked by how polished and devoid of Ubisoft stains it was. Even performance was very good with a complete lack of drivers or optimization. It was playable at 4K with a single 980, with tons of stuff on screen including dozens of AI units, hovering at around 40-45 fps. In 1440p I was in the high 80s and even more most of the time. No stutters or framerate drops.
It’s surreal considering that it’s from Ubisoft.

And the game itself was extremely fun and quite balanced apart from a few issues, they need to work on the problem of people ganging up on enemies. The skill gap is really high when going 1v1 though.
