  1. But didn’t the last two kind of suck? I’m not saying a developer can’t turn a new leaf, but after Raven’s Cry, I have zero faith in this being any good.

    1. TW2 was certainly their best effort and it looked gorgeous, I did play a lot of it ,the different places and exploring kept me interested.

    2. TW1 was kinda meh, but you had full unrestricted access to the huge gameworld right from the start. That was really cool, as most so called ‘open world’ games don’t do that.

      1. While I can appreciate an open world game that’s unrestricted on a technological level, at the same time, I’d rather have a well designed open world even at the cost of it being a little cramped (Yakuza games come into mind).

        1. The only thing I can remember about TW1 is visuals. It still looks good, even after 10 years, but everything else is subpar. It’s better to play Gothic instead.

I heard good thing about TW2 though, but haven’t got my hands on it.

    3. The first one sucked hard but the second was ok for the time it came out, it does not compare with what we got today.

    1. Was still better than Oblivion. Story wise as well. While the story wasn’t great, it had that awesome saturday morning cartoon feel to it.

  2. Good news, indeed. Do they also plan a major overhaul of the awful voice-acting, too? One can only dream, I guess.
