SEGA and Creative Assembly have announced the latest part in their Total War: MEDIEVAL series. To celebrate this announcement, the teams shared its first details, as well as a trailer that you can find below.
Total War: MEDIEVAL III marks the series’ big return to real historical settings. The game is still in early development, but it aims to honor the classic Medieval titles while also bringing fresh, exciting changes to the series.
Total War: MEDIEVAL III is being designed as the ultimate medieval strategy experience. Players will have the freedom to build kingdoms, change history, and truly dive into the Middle Ages like never before. The game will mix careful historical detail with a level of player choice the series has never had before.
As Creative Assembly stated, this promises to be more than a mere sequel.
There is currently no ETA on when Total War: MEDIEVAL III will come out. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted. Hell, there isn’t even a Steam store page for it yet.
The following trailer does not show much. So, don’t expect any gameplay scenes. SEGA hasn’t even shared any early in-game screenshots for it. All we got were some concept arts.
In other words, don’t expect to be playing Total War: MEDIEVAL III anytime soon. If I had to guess, I’d say this is a 2027 or 2028 game. So, it will be interesting to see whether or not my guess is accurate.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
