Torment: Tides of Numenera is free to play this weekend

InXile Entertainment has announced that Torment: Tides of Numenera is free to play this weekend on Steam and that’s the third major “free-to-play” offer that PC gamers can enjoy. Pretty cool right?

In order to celebrate this free to play weekend, inXile is also offering the game wit a 60% discount until Sunday. Naturally, your saves will transfer to the final version once you purchase it.

In case you weren’t aware of, Torment: Tides of Numenera is the thematic successor to Planescape: Torment, one of the most critically acclaimed role-playing games of all time. As such, players will immerse themselves in a single-player, isometric, story-driven RPG set in Monte Cook’s Numenera universe.

Those interested can download and start playing the game from Steam.

Have fun!

  1. Tried already, it’s such a bad game that makes me sick how it tries to cash on Planescape when the writing is not even close to the same level.

    1. While I agree it is not up to par with original, it is still a solid RPG. I knew there was no way they were gonna make it as good story wise. I think a lot of the core issues is the setting itself. I think the setting is awesome, just not for this type of game IMHO.

      1. The fact that anybody sat around expecting this to be on par with the first Planescape is bewilderingly to me. I went in with low expectations and found a solid cRPG with an interesting game world. It just wasn’t long enough, and felt like it was over before it really got started.

  2. It’s a 2 days free TRIAL offer. Within this period, if you purchase the game, then you also get a 60% discount.

If you don’t buy it within this time limit, then you can’t get a 60% discount, because you will have to pay the FULL price, if suppose you plan to buy this Game next week.

You can play the game for FREE till 21st MAY though.
