THQ Nordic has just announced its Gamescom 2017 plans. According to the press release, the company will present a total of eight games during the event in Cologne, with two yet to be announced.
The first title is a brand new original IP. This game will be an open world RPG that will be set in a unique universe and will be a post-apocalyptic kung-fu fable. The second new title will be a new instalment of a well-known, mysterious and horrific IP.
THQ Nordic will also showcase ELEX, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, SpellForce 3, Aquanox: Deep Descent, The Guild 3 and Wreckfest!

nice stuff.
I’d like a new Red Faction, but Volition already had Agents of Mayhem they’re working on. Too bad, we need another game with topnotch destruction.
A new Red Faction would be awesome, specially if it’s more like the original. Also I’m surprised they’re still working on that new Aquanox
Do we? after just cause 3 and bf1 do we?
Something new from Darksiders 3 would’ve been nice. I guess it’s too early for the dev team to show anything significant at the moment.
The new ip sounds interesting.
“The second new title will be a new instalment of a well-known, mysterious and horrific IP”
Painkiller reboot would be nice for me! 😀
So new Painkiller or Alan Wake 2?
Yep ,it’s Painkiller ,I can’t find well known horror in that list ,only PK! 🙂
If it’s on Remedy, it’s as good as dead!
Get it? GET IT? Ahhhh, you philistines….. I’ll show myself out.
Remedy signed a publishing deal with 505 games, so probably not
but it was published by Nordic in EU
There is no way it isn’t a new Painkiller.
Also, kung fu + post apocalyptic open world?
Sounds like that cancelled Bioware project. :V
Wanna bet its not painkiller? Oh wait they consider painkiller mysterious and horrific.. HAHAHAHAHHA
I mean, you check their IPs right now and is either Painkiller or… hmm… Deadly Creatures? Destroy All Humans? Titan Quest?
It really doesn’t leave that much.
