Nice one. Best fight game franchise ever.
The best Fighting game ever and I’m Love kof as kof brought me to the world of fighting games. remember my time in Arcade. KOF ftw
Looks good, but the price is quite steep for someone who is probably not seriously going to play online.
Tbh I’m put off by the fact that:
1) It’s rather pricey to begin with.
2)You have to actually pre-order to be able to even beta test for the quality of their netcode.
3) The content that comes with it is content that PS4 already has. The OST can be bought on Amazon, so they aren’t really offering much exclusive incentive to actually buy this over the PS4 version (except for trailer hype talk).
4) It’s arriving nearly a year later without much in terms of visual/performance differences from the PS4 version (at least the trailer for the Steam edition isn’t showing any that I can see).
I feel like this is going to die a quick death, especially with Tekken around the corner. Asking a high price with little exclusive value to make up for the delay, is really going to hurt it. If their netcode isn’t up to par then it will only ensure a quicker demise for the game.
TBH I feel like people who buy KOF on PC are just hardcore players who want another machine to practice on.
But yeah, KOF has stiff competition from Tekken 7 and a new Guilty Gear (which is launching alongside consoles for the first time). It’s basically dug its own grave at that price point.
Pick one?
No crossplay, No buy !
