Now here is something cool. Ubisoft has released a free demo for Star Wars: Outlaws, which is now available on both Steam and Ubisoft Connect.
This demo will let you experience the iconic planet of Tatooine as the scoundrel Kay Vess alongside her loyal companion, Nix. In the demo, players will seek out a mercenary to join their crew. To find him, you will need to navigate the planet’s lawless dunes on your speeder.
Players will face off against the Hutt Cartel, Tusken Raiders, and other menacing dangers. They’ll also pick up contracts in Mos Eisley, try their hand at a few games of Kessel Sabacc. Plus, they will venture out beyond the city limits to uncover the many opportunities within the open world. And yes, you will also be able to jump into the pilot seat and explore the dangers of Tatooine space and engage in dogfights.
In short, this demo will give you a pretty good idea of what this Star Wars game is all about. In total, it will offer you around 3 hours of gameplay. Do note, though, that it will not allow you to carry over your save game on any platform.
You can go ahead and download the demo from here or here.
For those wondering, yes. The demo is also using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. This is to be expected. After all, if the demo did not have it, hackers would use its executable to crack the full version.
Have fun!

"Free demo." Who has ever released a demo that wasn't free? The things you need to do for SEO, crazy times.
It's like they say a demo is "free" to imply generosity on developer's part, like a full game is such a masterpiece that we should be thankful for the very opportunity to play a small bit of it for free. Which is ridiculous levels of pretentiousness…
It's being done by several sites. Some even call regular updates free, all for clickbait.
Nitendo literally sells demo for switch 2 for 10 bucks
I DONT CARE ! Witch is too fugly!
vomiting seems like a better idea then play anything on this "game"
if its free then you cant afford it. btw you have to pay me to play this crap for half an hour.

So the playerbase for that joke of a game is so low that Ubisoft has decided to release a demo. Too late for that – as everyone and their grandmother already know that the game is not good.
Well, that is pretty strange on part of the developers. Why can't they allow to carry on the saved game progress to the full game ? lame
Makes little sense if someone has to put at least a minimum of 3 hours in the game, IMHO. .
….
It's because the game doesn't start on Tatooine.
Oh I see. If that’s the case, then it seems logical the saved game progress won’t be carried over, if the main story campaign has a different starting entry point.
Anytime I play a demo and it doesn't carry over progress into the main game I am always a little bit disappointed, even if I liked the game.
From what i see Denuvo and all this bs drm is killing ubisoft, in past games a huge part of the people who played the cracked version endup buying the game if they like it and enjoy it. This demo is not going to save them, Denuvo is going to fail mark my words. Anyway ubisoft games in the last 10 years is the same and tastes like a dog-sh*t.
wow u know wat also taste like dog sh*t ur mom
33GB… Welp, it will do nicely. I mean for testing my new ssd, not for playing, god forbid!
I have 0 interest in this demo, but I am glad to see that on Steam at least, demos are becoming much more of a norm than they used to be. For the future they just need to finish them closer to the release date. That's probably easier said than done depending on the game.
Silly Ubi, you do that before the game launches, not after it flops
I tried to play it for 30 minutes but after my character couldn`t walk on small slope and keept sliding so I couldn`t reach my quest I uninstalled it.
what was more interesting is that it supports the MFG so I decided to test it on my 5070 ti in 4k ultra plus RT max and I had 150-200 fps without any ugly artifacts and input lag was OK too so it was a pleasant surprise.
LMAO if releasing a demo after 8 months from the main game's release isn't a cry for help…
Why would I waste space and pixel with this fugly b*tch?
Annnnd "Requires 3rd-Party Account: Ubisoft Connect launcher (Supports Linking to Steam Account)" And the steam reviews are overwhelmingly negative
So, still a hard pass.
