SEGA officially announces Yakuza: Like a Dragon for the PC, releases new cinematic trailer

A few days ago, we informed you about the possibility of Yakuza: Like a Dragon coming to the PC. And today it’s official. SEGA has confirmed that Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be coming to Windows 10. Moreover, the publisher released a new cinematic trailer that you can find below.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is the eighth main release in the Yakuza series. This Yakuza game came out in 2020 on PS4 in Japan. The game is not available yet on the West, so it will be interesting to see when the PC version will come out.

Now contrary to all previous Yakuza games, Yakuza: Like a Dragon features a turn-based RPG type combat system. Characters can use nearby surrounding items such as bicycles to attack enemies. Characters may also kick surrounding items to their target if there is an interactive item in the environment on the way to the enemy. Not only that, but players can also call on various party assists to strengthen the party or defeat enemies.

Enjoy!

  1. Yeah, this is the one Yakuza I’ll be skipping. I do hope the next one isn’t going to be turned based.

  2. btw forget denuvo bs for second these devs tried to sell NG+ mode for 10$ don’t know if its still thing…

  3. Another day, another PS4 exclusive falls to PC.

Meanwhile, the PR disaster that is The Last Of Us Part 2 rumbles on. Neil Cuckmann, Naughty Dog and Soyny are taking a battering for the game’s storyline, their anti-consumer behaviour, the pathetically embarrassing attempt to hide from criticism, the cringeworthy doubling down on what was already epic levels of SJW idiocy and also their legally dubious widescale concerted efforts across multiple media platforms to censor freedom of speech.

Breathtakingly shameless, morally repugnant, ethically bankrupt and utterly disgraceful conduct. Truly a new low for the video game industry.

Cretinous woke ‘journalists’ in the long ago widely discredited access media may be dutifully doing Soyny’s bidding in seeking to change the narrative but it’s already far too late for damage limitation. gg

Imbeciles are welcome to hit that downvote button to show us you’re triggered!

      1. True that, haha!

Cuckmann’s fellow SJW at Soyny, Corey Barlog of God of War recent infamy, has been on Twitter (but of course) rallying to his defence. The panic is palpable. Observing this disaster continuing to unfold is going to be a hoot!

    1. Japanese bought the JRPG but westerners might not buy it that much as they did Y6 so SEGA is releasing Y7 on PC/Xbox/PS4 (Eng version) at the same time practically. Need all the players they can get.

      1. This debacle with The Last Of Us Part 2 also comes so soon after Soyny bent the knee to the vile SJWs at Reeeeeesetera and activist games ‘journalists’ by censoring Persona 5 Royal.

  4. If it’s Win10 exclusive then it deserves to go broke just so SEGA learns a double lesson for not bringing the other Yakuza games first for PC.

  5. its 2020 what do expect? FFS everyone has WIn10 and yes its worse system ever and i hate it but i still use it as everything is made for it so not much choice there.
