Sea of Thieves Open Beta phase begins on March 9th

Rare has announced that the final – and open – beta phase for Sea of Thieves will begin on March 9th. As its title suggests, this beta will be available to everyone and will last until March 11th at 10am GMT.

This open beta will allow Rare to test a broader range of features than ever before, and it also gives anyone who’s interested a chance to play and experience the game for themselves.

In the Final Beta, alongside the Gold Hoarders, Rare will be testing Merchant Alliance voyages for the first time, giving players an entirely new way to play. Rare is also introducing an intense, emergent opportunity into the world with the chance of a Skeleton Fort now being occupied.

Sea of Thieves is currently scheduled for a March 20th release!

  1. Too expensive for my country. I can buy 4 copies of witcher 3 for this price tag.
Also I don’t think microsoft is going to support this game in long run.

    1. The difference here is that this is a flagship title for not only Win 10 according to Microsoft but also Xbox, really doubt they will screw it around and stop this with how much interest this is getting this soon.

      1. Obvious to those who keep abreast of gaming news but not apparent from this article to those without any prior knowledge of the game. Obvious is obvious, buddy.
