Deep Silver has announced that Saints Row IV is now free to play until August 13th. This basically means that PC gamers can go ahead, download the game from Steam and play it until this free weekend expires.
As with most free weekends, PC gamers will be able to play the game for free only during these three days. In other words, you won’t be able to keep this game in your library.
In Saints Row IV, Volition continues the story of the Third Street Saints by elevating their status to the highest level – the leaders of the free world. The head of the Saints has been elected to the Presidency of the United States but the Saints are just getting started. Now the larger-than-life insanity of the Saints series gets a new twist with a catastrophic alien invasion, and the aliens have transported the Saints to a bizarro-Steelport simulation. Players will wield gargantuan superpowers and fight to free humanity from alien granddaddy Zinyak’s mental grasp.
Those interested can download the game from here.
Have fun!

Honestly man i dont care what they will call their next game, what i care is that this new game they are making is saints row without the customization, heck you cant even choose your weapons and the characters in the game are so meh. Very uninspired and borring,
Might be going against the grain or maybe I am just a sucker for open world games with ARPG mechanics but I am actually looking forward to it. Also could be the fact that I really liked Crackdown 1, AOM reminds me of that game but with better graphics + upgrades.
I think it looks cool, I only hope it is fun and enjoyable like the other SR games. RPG and ARPGs are my favorite type of game mechanics so the fact you can level up your crew, there is loot, upgrades, skills, crafting, weapon sockets, base upgrades, vehicles, etc and you select your crew load out all got my interest(I really love that sort of stuff).
Not going to lie though I do fear the world will be empty and it could get boring. I really hope it is a good game(fingers crossed). Pretty sure everyone wanted SRV, all well 🙁 still my gut thinks AOM will turn out to be good. In 5 days we will find out…
