Square Enix has just released a PC demo via Steam for Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven. Moreover, the publisher has shared the game’s official TGS 2024 trailer which you can find below.
In the demo, you play as Emperor Leon, who begins an epic adventure with his second son, Prince Gerard. Together, they face challenges that will span many generations. The story follows Leon, Gerard, and future emperors as they battle the Seven Heroes—once great champions who have mysteriously turned against the world. The demo ends with a fight against Kzinssie, one of the Seven Heroes, and sets the stage for the full story. You can also carry over your save data from the demo to the full game.
Revenge of the Seven is a remake of Romancing SaGa 2, a game that first came out on the SNES in 1993. Made by the same team who worked on Trials of Mana, this remake has been completely rebuilt with modern graphics and updated strategic gameplay. It also includes several new features that will make both longtime SaGa fans and new players excited to play.
The remake will include both the original and updated music by the famous Kenji Ito (known for his work on SaGa Frontier and the Mana series). It will also have voiceovers in both Japanese and English, plus the timeline system, which adds a new layer to the strategic battles.
Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven is coming to PC on October 24th. Since this is a new game from SE, you can expect it to be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. Finally, you can find its official PC requirements here.
You can download the PC demo from this link.
Enjoy!

I hope this remake is more authentic to the original game and in better hands than the DEIgon AGE III remake is.
Nothing Squeenix is in good hands, they are terminally infected by westoid monkeypoz, it'd be a miracle if the ethics department didn't rub their rotting maggot infested axe wounds all over this.
it looks like a ps2 game and i am not talking about the graphics but the waifus.
Looks like a generic Japanese mobile game.
Every game from Sega, SE or Capcom has Denuvo or some other online DRM bs. Easier to just avoid Japanese games at this point.

What even are these graphics. Is that blob supposed to be a hand?
The background looks like it's a 2D JPEG. It probably is.
If it was priced at like €9 or something, that would be fine. But it's €50 and it looks like a mobile game.
