Rock Simulator 2014 Is A Thing, Gets A Steam Greenlight Campaign

Tell someone that you have just heard of Rock Simulator 2014 and he’ll bombard you with all sorts of questions. Is it a new game from Harmonix, does it have a better tracklist than Rocksmith, is your favourite guitar supported, when is it coming out, will it support more than 2 players? What he or she may never ask you, however, is whether this is a game about rocks and stones. That’s ridiculous right? I mean, could there ever be such a game in which you are simply staring at stones? Well, aparently there is one.

Our reader ‘Ghost Rider LSOV’ has informed us about the Steam Greenlight campaign of Rock Simulator 2014; a game in which players stare at stones and rocks in any location in the world.

“From grass plains to salt flats, there are dozens of hand designed BEAUTIFUL environments.”

Ooooooooookay, I guess. But the screenshots that accompany the game’s Greenlight campaign are not THAT beautiful. They look average at best. And for a game that it has no special gameplay mechanics whatsoever or any meaningful purpose at all, that’s a major issue.

Nevertheless, you can check its Steam Greenlight Campaign here.

Enjoy!

      1. Really? I assume we have to take of the grass so there might some gameplay element in it. With a sprinkle of zombies to make it interesting.

  1. Oh no…This must be some kind of parody to what it is actually happening in the market with the actual success of non-sense “games” like Goat Simulator.

If people are actually voting this up just for the sake of how dumb this is, it just shows how stupid people actually is. Hope I’m wrong…

    Incredible.

  2. Ya know, Goat Simulator is alright by me because it is actually a game and I had some good silly fun with it. Plus it was released partly because people at the competition it was made for thought it was fun.

This is just stupid, though. The joke is over. Just STAHP.
