REPLACED has been delayed until April 14th

Sad Cat Studios and Thunderful have announced a short delay to their highly-anticipated cyberpunk action platformer, REPLACED. The game will now be releasing on PC on April 14th. The delay will give Sad Cat Studios a few more weeks to add a final layer of polish and deliver a game true to the studio’s vision.

REPLACED is a 2.5D action platformer with a strong cyberpunk story. Players will run, climb, and fight through broken city districts, factories, and bright neon streets. The movement will be smooth, and the combat will be fast and responsive. You can combine quick melee hits with powerful ranged attacks to defeat enemies in exciting battles, all while exploring the world at a steady, fun pace.

As R.E.A.C.H. struggles with new human feelings and emotions, the city’s hidden power systems begin to show themselves. The story explores themes like what it means to be human, who you really are, and who has control. The characters will be complicated, and the world will be broken and full of tough choices. Every place you visit has its own story, and every secret you uncover comes with a price.

The retro-futuristic world comes alive with detailed pixel art mixed with modern visual effects. A dark, synth-heavy soundtrack sets the mood. REPLACED promises to offer a single-player story that mixes smooth platforming, fast action, and a tense cyberpunk mystery. It aims to pull you into a world where every secret and every life comes with a cost.

Sad Cat Studios has also shared the game’s minimum PC requirements. To run it, PC gamers will need an Intel Core i5-8400 CPU with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060.

It’s also worth noting that the devs have released a PC demo for it. Those interested can download it from here.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
