Distinct Possibility Studios, a team that includes several former PlanetSide 2 devs, has announced its new title, Reaper Actual. Reaper Actual is an open-world persistent PvPvE first-person shooter. So, let’s take a closer look at it.
Reaper Actual is a modern-day FPS that will let hundreds of players play together. You will level up your character, build your own Base, and do missions for 5 different NPC groups. All of this takes place on a huge island called Marova, which has been destroyed by war.
Players can travel by land, sea, or air as they explore the island’s 5 different biomes. They’ll go on all kinds of missions, from hunting high-value targets to gathering resources for the game’s detailed crafting system.
Reaper Actual will be using Unreal Engine 5. And, although we don’t have an ETA on when it will come out, we do have its preliminary PC requirements.
According to these early PC specs, PC gamers will at least need an Intel i5 or Ryzen 5 (6 core min) with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia RTX 2080, an RTX 3070, or an AMD Radeon RX 7600. The devs recommend an Intel i7+ / Ryzen 7+ (10-core min) or similar with 32GB of RAM and an Nvidia RTX 4070 or an AMD Radeon RX 7800.
Finally, you can find below the game’s debut trailer. This trailer does have a few gameplay sequences. So, be sure to check it out.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
