Topware has issued a press release for the new release date of its pirate-themed action RPG, Raven’s Cry. According to the company, this action RPG has been delayed yet again, and is now planned for a January 28th release.
Here is what Topware had to say about the new delay:
“We had hoped our dark pirate epic would be ready in time for the Holidays, so those of you who buy it could put it under the Christmas tree. But we’re not willing to rush things make any compromises with this project, so we decided to give this complex RPG adventure a little bit more time to make sure all the blades are nice and sharp, so to speak. After all, we owe it to our fans, who have been waiting a long time for a such an exciting pirate experience.”
In addition, Topware is going to be releasing some gameplay material from its dark pirate adventure very soon.
Let’s hope that this new gameplay video won’t be as disappointing as the last one.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

Wow should we tell them…
It looks like a Black flag beater, lets hope final product will be well polished! (Not that it made Ubisofts Watch Dogs on PC any better when they delayed it for six months) Read somewhere that Ubisoft had glorified the era and that the devs are out to put things right with Ravens Cry. Looks indeed like a very dark and gritty game from watching youtube videos on this.
This game looks like crap from the very first day they showed something. It has to be FUBAR to have another delay. Don’t buy it even when it’s done.
Delays always suck, it’s true, especially for people who preordered. But then again, preordering is a stupid habit.
And in my book it’s a lot better to wait more for a more polished product, than to have early an unplayable turd.
I agree but specifically this game looks like crap. Pre-orders are BS, and worse when devs refuse to show system requirements since the beginning of the pre-sale.
Releasing same day as GTA V PC, yeah that will absolutely not destroy its sales.
