PS4-exclusive The King of Fighters XIV is coming to Steam

SNK has announced that The King of Fighters XIV will be coming to Steam. This was announced during an event that was held by SNK, and even though we don’t have any additional details about the Steam version, we do know that the publisher is currently preparing pre-purchases and a closed-beta phase.

The King of Fighters XIV is a new fighting game that was released exclusively on PS4 in 2016.

Our guess is that the Steam version will include all DLCs that were released for the PS4 version.

PC gamers will be able to pre-order the game and participate in its closed beta phase later this month, so stay tuned for more!

  1. I like how most of the gaming sites work nowadays.

They have a motto of “All games are PS Exclusive until proven otherwise and even when proven wrong we will act like it didn’t happen”.

    1. It’s a japanese game.Even if no platforms are announced you can be 100% sure that it will come to playstation. So as long as no other platform is mentioned most just assume it’s a ps4 exclusive. It’s dumb yeah but that’s how it is.
And tbh seeing as how much exclusive deals Sony makes it’s no wonder why people would assume such thing.

  2. Like we didn’t know it’s going to happen. Let’s hope for a good optimization.

  3. Seems like every developer that once didn’t publish their games on PC is finally realizing that the PC platform is the future. Bayonetta, King of Fighters, Danganronpa V3 and pretty much almost every Japanese PS4 exclusive is getting a PC version as well. Only first party Sony IPs will more than likely stay exclusive in 1-2 years with pretty much every other game getting a PC release.

  4. The last time I played a KOF game was the one in 94 and remember the controversy was Mai’s heaving boobs. I wonder if this new version is any different.

  5. the real exclusives come from SONY first party. those games PC pirates will never have chance laying it’s filthy hands on it.
