Remember Project Mugen? You know, the anime-like third-person game that had traversal mechanics similar to those of Insomniac’s Spider-Man? Well, the game got renamed to ANANTA, and it got a new GTA6-like trailer. So, let’s take a look at it, shall we?
For those unaware, ANANTA will be a free-to-play urban-themed open world RPG, where players will act as the investigator with the code name “Infinite Trigger” and explore the world.
Now while its previous trailer made it look like a Spider-Man rip off, ANANTA appears to be more of a free to play online GTA 6 wannabe. Or at least that’s the vibes I got from the trailer. I mean, take a close look at it. The devs have basically recreated the GTA6 trailer. They even included a beach scene, similar to it.
From what I can see, ANANTA will also have a lot of side activities. That’s cool as it will allow players to experiment with lots of things.
So, to sum it up. ANANTA will have anime graphics, the traversal mechanics of Spider-Man, and a huge city with side activities similar to GTA. That’s cool and all. So, I’m curious to see whether this experiment will be a success or not.
There is currently no ETA on when the game will come out. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.

This year's people's choice award nominees only has eastern games. So it speaks for itself, what the mainstream audience prefer. There's a reason people's vote count only 10% in the main game awards so that critics can cheat however they prefer. Nevertheless, I'm sure people will prefer this game than any Western nonsense at least for a year now until west get fixed

I don't know about the stuff people are mentioning, thankfully, but from a stylized open world pov it does look kinda cool. I'd say it looks like a gta-yakuza-cp77 mixture and more, however F2P is definitie nogo. The two "losers" in wwju seem to be the most pronized and "progressive" helscapes today, with big economies based on cars, games and ofc various forms of pron-fetish, gross countries that in fact "won" from a rebuilt and staffed by jumasons for the jwo we're already in it's just the noose is getting tighter, goycattle.
Knowing how GTA 6 is going to be woke af, this might be a good alternate, untill based modders fix it ofc

I understand that in Asia, unlike the West, games still target mostly very young people, but it still doesn't make sense to me.
When I was a kid, I loved to play adults in games.

I don't mind child characters in games or any story with child leads, in fact, I actually liked that as a kid and still do even now as long as the characters themselves are likable and not cringe.

The Asian countries are higher IQ. They are not like Western women who get jealous when they see young women in videogames and tv (doesn't matter whether they are real or animated). They know cute and pretty sells and this is why they add the young girls.
