Bluehole Studio has just announced that PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS has sold 4 million copies in just three months. What’s really surprising here is that Steamspy’s data are lower than what Bluehole Studio reports (usually Steamspy’s data is approximately the same or a bit higher than the actual sales).

But anyway, this is great news for Bluehole Studio.
PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS is described as a last-man-standing shooter being developed with community feedback. Starting with nothing, players must fight to locate weapons and supplies in a battle to be the lone survivor.
The final version of the game will be released in around six months, and will incorporate modding tools that will allow players to customize and play the game the way they want. Furthermore, it will feature more content and new features that will be based on feedback from the community during Early Access!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. And no sale in Summer Sale, what a way to celebrate your success….
why would they, more people are buying this without discount than thousands of other games on steam (with discount)
Hey it’s B*tthole studios after all.
Why the F would you drop your price when it’s still brand new and selling like crazy? Sure you’re not a business major?
Also Steamspy is always almost a week behind actual sales. So the numbers there are usually *lower* than actual or reported sales figures.
