A number of PC demos went live earlier today, so I’ve decided to share most of them in one big article. So, below, you can find the PC demos for Bubsy 4D, Misery, Valor Mortis, Escape from Even After, Skate Story, and Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era.
The demo for Bubsy 4D will give players access to four levels in the campaign (tutorial + first three levels). They will also be able to compete for best time on the speedrunning leaderboard. Players can use the wide variety of moves available and find new ways to shave seconds off their best times.
Valor Mortis is a first-person action soulslike from the creators of Ghostrunner. The game uses Unreal Engine 5.5, and its demo is based on a pre-alpha build. As the devs stated, they haven’t really prioritized performance or optimization for this playtest. However, they hope players can still give it a shot to see what they are aiming for. You can get access to the playtest via this link.
Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era is the official prequel hailing back to the origins of the genre-defining, critically acclaimed series of turn-based strategy games. In this game, players will recruit heroes, conquer fantastic lands, and overcome their foes. You can download the demo from this link.
Misery is a 1–5 player co-op survival game set in a nuclear disaster zone. In this game, players will search radioactive ruins for resources, build their bunker, craft weapons, and explore a weird, procedurally-generated world with their friends. You can download its demo from here.
Finally, in Skate Story, players will skate fast to destroy vicious demons, help a forgetful frog, and save other tortured souls on their journey from fragile beginner to hardened skater. Players will push through hell and discover The Devil’s greatest weakness: humility, perseverance, and a disgustingly sweet backside tailslide. You can download the demo from this link.
Have fun!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. I so can't wait to play that new Heroes of Might & Magic…
And yet, I KNOW that I'm going to be disappointed. 😭
