Valve has launched Steam Next Fest 2026, and PC demos for numerous upcoming games have been released. Therefore, I’ve decided to share those I found interesting in one article. So, let’s dive in.
The first PC demo is for Ashes of the Singularity 2. Ashes of the Singularity 2 is a massive real-time strategy PC game. In this title, you take control of huge armies and fight to take over whole planets. You can lead the forces of Earth, the robot-like AI Substrate, or the mysterious Post-Human Coalition.
The PC demo has two playable factions, the United Earth Forces and the Post-Human Coalition. It has a Skirmish mode against AI, as well as full multiplayer support for up to 8 players. There are also three maps to play (one small, one medium, and one large). You can download the PC demo from this link.
The next PC demo is for the new strategy game, Sudden Strike 5. The demo will give you the chance to tackle selected missions of the WWII real-time tactics game. You will explore the strategic options of two of the game’s three playable factions in two missions to get a first impression of the core gameplay and overall experience. Then we have the PC demo for Darkhaven. Darkhaven is a new ARPG from the original creators of Diablo and Diablo II. Darkhaven is built around dynamic worlds. World events can overtake entire regions, or even the whole map. So, in this demo, the Necropolis spreads to consume everything if you don’t stop it in time. You can download the PC demo from here.
Finally, we have the PC demos for REPLACED, Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss, SpaceCraft, and John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando.
