Modder ‘RiotEsper’ has released a brand new mod for Wolfenstein 3D, called Operation: Gral. This mod adds a completely new set of visuals, 22 new levels in total and other additional features. It also retains the classic Wolfenstein 3D gameplay so this is a must-have for all old-school fans out there.

In Operation: Gral, players will have to get the holy grail back from the remnant nazi chapter holed up in Castle Todesdrache. Players will confront the Colonel Müller and his three henchmen in challenging, over-the-top boss fights. Players will also reveal the ancient secrets of the Holy Grail and traverse dimensions in preparation for the final battle.

The concept sounds cool and since this has 22 levels, it should please all those fans of the pseudo-3D games that came out in the 90s. In fact, I’d personally like to see more mods that add new levels to games like Duke Nukem 3D, Doom (okay okay, the Doom community remains still active) and Wolfenstein 3D.
