NetEase Games has announced that its open-world MMO, Sword of Justice, will be released on November 7th. To celebrate this announcement, the team shared a new trailer, as well as a PC demo.
Sword of Justice will feature a new “Paths Converge” system, letting both casual and competitive players earn full rewards no matter how they play. The game removes boring grinding and old MMO rules, creating a more relaxing experience. As the first season-based open-world MMO, it offers hundreds of skills and gear to discover and collect across a massive world — all without paywalls.
Players will step into a huge open world inspired by Eastern art and the beauty of the Song Dynasty. You will be able to explore mountains, caves, and hidden places while searching for lost weapons and martial arts techniques. Solve old puzzles, discover amazing secrets, and master powerful moves to fight mythical beasts and bandits. Along the way, you’ll collect rare treasures and become stronger.
Beyond combat, Sword of Justice brings the busy streets of the Song Dynasty to life. Players can perform on the streets, try archery, take part in court trials, and choose from almost a hundred different jobs. The world is inspired by the famous painting Along the River During the Qingming Festival.
The game also aims to be different from other online games that force players to always team up. Sword of Justice will have a new “NPC Companion System” that lets solo players clear group dungeons on their own, making the game more relaxing. The game will focus on fun and freedom, letting players enjoy a chill experience. Its “casual light gameplay” will offer great rewards too. You can farm, fish, play chess, go sightseeing, travel, and even do archaeology.
At launch, Sword of Justice will support Path Tracing on PC. It will also have support for NVIDIA DLSS 4. Finally, you can download its demo from this link.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
