Square Enix and PlatinumGames have released a new trailer for NieR: Automata and at the end of that trailer, it was revealed that the game will be released on February 23rd. This trailer was unveiled during Sony’s TGS conference, however we are pretty sure that the PC version will be released alongside the PS4 version.
We don’t know, however, whether Square Enix plans a simultaneous worldwide release. For now, we can conclude that the game will be released in Japan on February 23rd.
Naturally, we’ll make sure to inform you about the Western release as soon as possible.
Enjoy!

Looking forward to playing this game next year!
The most pointless and uninformative trailer ever (maybe less so for Japanese speakers but still).
I love how similar Japanese sounds to gobble.
My favourite foreign language which I’ll most likely never learn out of sheer lay-Z-ness.

PC releases sadly aren’t a common occurance in Japan, hence why you don’t tend to hear about them until a Western release gets announced. So the safest assumption would be that the February 2017 date only concerns the Japanese PS4 version, unless they were to next announce that this will be the Worldwide release date as well.
What a worthless trailer, I hate when they do that. Zero risk, barely any effort.
JUST SHOW GAMEPLAY, GODDAMMIT. No one cares about this artsy-fartsy, melodramatic garbage.
such a crappy trailer :/
After watching the trailer… then I realize I know why they disabled the comment section lol
February 2017 cant come soon enough!
Rubbish.
