Deep Silver and 4A Games have announced that, after five years of development, Metro Exodus has gone Gold and will release a week earlier than anticipated. This basically means that this highly anticipated title will now release on February 15th 2019.
Klemens Kundratitz, CEO at Deep Silver, said:
“Our fans have been waiting patiently for Metro Exodus ever since we announced the title at E3 2017. We had previously delayed the release date to ensure 4A Games had the time to deliver their ambitious vision for the game, but now we’re delighted to confirm that Metro Exodus has ‘gone gold’ and we are able to bring the release date forward to the 15th February 2019.”
To celebrate this news, Deep Silver are proud to reveal the spectacular Title Sequence for Metro Exodus.
Created by Santa Monica based studio, Elastic, the award winning makers of some of the most iconic title sequences of recent years including Game of Thrones and Westworld, this beautiful introduction to the game is set to an original score by Metro series composer Alexey Omelchuk.
Andy Hall, Creative Director at Elastic, added:
“We were absolutely thrilled to be contacted by the team at Deep Silver and 4A Games to create this Main Title Sequence. It’s the type of project we love. Once we had been immersed in the game, we essentially lived in this frozen and terrifying landscape for many, many weeks…we are delighted with the final film.”
Enjoy!

Metro Exodus – Feb 15
Dead or Alive 6 – Feb 15
Far Cry – New Dawn – Feb 15
Crackdown 3 – Feb 15
February the 15th is getting crowded with releases.
They anticipated because of Anthem, which launches on Feb 22.
A wise choice imho.
March (not that I care for MP games but still, also the recent launch of Anthem):
Devil May Cry 5
Resident Evil 2 Remake
Division 2
And then if some of them dont sell well they will complain when the
real problem is… WE CANT PLAY 4 GAMES AT SAME TIME!!!!! I play all
action games and most fighting but with 4 of them release same time…. I
will have to choose! So i will start far cry and deado or alive(since
it is fighter iw ill finish it in just two days and then play online
only like i do with all fighters). Then later crackdown 3 and metro!
Then Devil may cry and sekiro on march. then mortal kombat 10 and let
alive on april and rage on may. I dont be surpised if some of them
delayed to avoid competition!!!!!

with one will you play first?
Let’s hope they do a acceptable RTX implementation
I’m hoping for BFV (actual performance) levels of implementation as a MINIMUM. But that’s me i always expect too much and most of the time end up deceived 🙁
Even if you don’t use RT, Metro has a good background story, beautiful gfx, interesting lore and compelling gameplay!
Most will just turn RT off to enjoy the game in 4k/60-2k/144 or whatever
