Konami has revealed the official PC system requirements for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater via the game’s Steam page. So, let’s see what PC system you’ll need to run it.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be powered by Unreal Engine 5. So, we can safely assume that the game will support Lumen and Nanite. However, we don’t know whether there will be a Ray Tracing option.
To run MGSD: SE, PC gamers will need an Intel i5-8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super. The game will also require 100GB of free disk space.
Konami recommends an Intel i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080. Plus, the team recommends using an SSD.
To be honest, these feel quite low PC requirements. So, I don’t think they fully represent the PC system you’ll need to run it. Perhaps these are preliminary PC specs? Or perhaps Konami will reveal the final PC specs once we get closer to the game’s release.
For what it’s worth, Konami has not revealed the resolution, settings and framerate these PC specs target. So, in a way, they are not that useful. But hey, they are at least something.
I should also note that the Steam store page does not list Denuvo. I don’t know though whether Konami will add it at the last minute. Silent Hill 2 Remake came out without it. So, fingers crossed that MGSD: SE will not have it too.
Konami will release Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater on August 28th.
Stay tuned for more!

hardware lumen and no denuvo would be cute
I wonder why so many companies still do not include performance targets with the specs. Surely another 2 lines of text for an intended metric or experience wouldnt sow too much ill will. A 3080 is still a beefy card 1440p60 with Upscaling probably wouldnt be a terrible target. I do wonder what makes a R5 3600 comparable to both the i5-8600 minimum and i7-8700k recommended.
It's a Japanese game, so the target is obviously silky smooth cinematic 30fps at cinematic 1080p.
Those feel right if a bit high. This game will run on a series S so I am sure the 16 GB ram minimum is BS as well as the 2060 super.
Easier to optimise for a console than a pc than can have a thousand different configurations.
Yeah run on Series S, 720p and 27FPS maybe. Have you see the abysmal resolutions and ugly image quality of existing UE5 games on that system?
I don't think it is that high. The 3080 is now 4.5 years and 3 gens old. The problem is that Nvidia and AMD should have made the 3080 the equivalent of upper low-end by now, but they haven't. 3080 = 4070 = 5070 (+/- 10%). By comparison, the lowly GTX 1660Ti (2019) matched GTX 980Ti (2015). Note Ti (!) not plain GTX980, and for a third of the price…
'To be honest, these feel quite low PC requirements.'
yeah, specially rtx 2060 super, are you joking john?
Bro, RTX 2060 is antiquated trash, common.
Low starts with 4060
Bro، the point is how the game looks compared to what it asks for.UE5 games, mostly look average and not that better,if better at all, than older but optimized titles.

SE resistance states rtx 2060 as min specs, and yet it ran on my 1060 6gb easy. So these are maybe just preliminary specs
10 years old MGSV looks better. Why this one requires better hardware? hmm, I know why.
MGS V looks nowhere near better, copping much.
Maybe you have better eyes.
"MGS" V is not even a real MGS and it doesnt look better
Did you actually played it?
Quite low?
This is the only numbered MGS I haven't finished yet, looks like it'll stay that way
I'd rather replay V
V is not even a real MGS game, its a teenagified trash for OW kiddos
Sure gramps, you don’t even have time to type a complete comment without abbreviation, and yet you honor me with your insight
Dumb Konami never heard of AMD !!!!!!!!!!!
