During MechCon 2018, Piranha Games announced that it aims to release MechWarrior 5 Mercenaries in September 2019. MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries will be the first standalone single-player MechWarrior title in development for PC in nearly 15 years, so this is a game that a lot of PC gamers are looking forward to.
In order to celebrate this announcement, the team has also released a new trailer that you can find below. Since MechCon 2018 is currently under way, a robust playable demo is currently available to all attendees.
Alongside its single-player mode, MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries will feature intense PvE ‘Mech combat in an immersive, career-based Mercenary campaign driven by player choice. The game will be powered by the Unreal Engine 4, will support NVIDIA’s DLSS tech, will support mods as well as 4-player co op mode.
Enjoy!

Nice, that looks pretty rad. Please be good!
From the reports on Screenrant, the game is the most free-form Mechwarrior game to ever be made. Has massive amounts of Mechvariants and customization, story developed by Pirahna Games and Catalyst(company that made the board game), and it apparently plays nothing like MWO does.
Sounds like it will be awesome
“plays nothing like MWO does.”
GOOD
Hell yeah! Best news about the whole entire game.
Very cool! All I ever wanted was a modern open world Mechwarrior game that was more and to the point a “free-form” Mechwarrior game.
So that sounds epic(what you wrote), I can’t wait and hope it will own and from the sounds of it might just be the ticket most of us have been waiting for.
Starting to get hyped.
Looks like crap. Hopefully I’m wrong, but it really looks bad – from the design to how the mechs handle.
Might fullfill my mech craving untill a new armored core
Looks legit!
Great mechs, environments and soundtracks…looks like a true Mechwarrior game!
