LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW RePOP feature

LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW RePOP is coming to PC on September 25th

Dragami Games has announced that LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW RePOP will be released on PC on September 25th. To celebrate this announcement, the team shared the game’s first gameplay trailer which you can find below.

LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW RePOP is a remake of the original LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW (2012). RePOP is a definitive version of the game which leaves the story unchanged, with the focus on quality-of-life improvements and additional gameplay content.

According to the devs, this remake will have reduced load times. Moreover, it will allow you to increase the resolution to 4K (however it’s still unknown whether it will support framerates higher than 60fps).

The chainsaw action has been sped up with the introduction of the Chained Hits Hunting system, in which chaining multiple hits in succession increases the player’s attack speed. Moreover, the input timings for Combo Actions have been adjusted, to better fit players’ expectations.

Chainsaw Blaster action has been improved with the addition of auto-lock and auto-fire modes that can be toggled, and an increased maximum ammo count of 99. Not only that but the player can now immediately use Combo Actions at the start of the game.

Dragami Games has also added a new RePOP mode, which uses a unique and colorful pop art-inspired art style for damage effects. This is an additional mode. In other words, the remake will also have an Original Mode with all the gore from the original version.

Players can also expect unique new chainsaws with distinctly different features. There will also be 30 costumes, more than the original game’s costume count. Combined with the addition of 4 new hair colors and 4 new chainsaws, this adds up to 750 different possible combinations.

Finally, the devs have expanded JULIET’S ROOM with more features, and they have added a Time Attack mode with ranking feature.

Enjoy!

      1. Rainbows featured prominently in the original. But in the sunshine and rainbows, not deviancy and monkeypox sense.

    1. When they announced it I thought it was going to be a remake, but it's just a remaster.

At least is coming out on PC.

  1. Ngl I really appreciate the remasters having the "easy mode" toggles. I've been getting through the Megaman Battle Network Collection and man did I forget how awful some of the sections were or resource demanding some areas had been over the years.

    1. juliet represents that bombshell cheerleader you always wanted to f*ck when your were still in high school.

  2. How is this even a remaster? It doesn't even look like they ran the textures through an AI upscaler. I recently emulated the ps3 game on PC at 4k with auto HDR and it looks just as good as this supposed remaster..

    1. True, you have a PC and an Emulator.
But you need to understand that these remasters are for console owners only(people that game only on consoles and never had a PC)
Compare original Ps3/xbox360 version running on a PS3/xbox360 vs this remaster.
The same was for Mass Effect 3 legendary edition,go find a xbox360/ps3 play mass effect 3 on those consoles on 1 screen(720p 30fps at best with low fidelity settings)vs legendary edition ME3 native 4K 60fps PC max Fidelity settings with even better textures than original PC(no mods) on a PS5 trough back compat on other screen set side by side.
Same can be said about PSP games, one is to play them on PSP and another is to play them on PC with Emulators.
I tested this remaster practice with Alan Wake Remastered.
I still have my moded xbox360 and when i purchased Alan Wake remastered,i took my old xbox, I connected to TV in hdmi1 port and in hdmi 2 was the PS5 version…trust me the diference is massive(xbox 360=25-27fps,low fidelity settingsvs PS5 PC enhanced settings and 60fps) , the remastered PC vs the original PC max settings, looks the same except face models and some extra folliage and vfx.

  3. WTF, the texture quality and graphics are still as atrocious as they were in the original.

This better be free, because they changed literally nothing.
