Warner Bros is currently giving away for free LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. From today until December 12th, PC gamers can visit the game’s EGS page and acquire their free copy. This is a great freebie, so make sure to get it while you still can.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga features the biggest roster of playable characters in the LEGO Star Wars series. It also includes the greatest legends from every era of the Skywalker saga. Players can fight against the forces of evil as Luke Skywalker, Rey, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Finn, BB-8 and a legion of other heroes. Alternatively, they can turn to the dark side as Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, Kylo Ren, and more. The greatest vehicles from across the galaxy are also available to command. Players can jump to lightspeed in the Millennium Falcon to outrun Imperial starships, battle First Order TIE fighters in Resistance X-Wings, or podrace on Tatooine.
In total, the game has over 300 playable characters, over 100 vehicles, and 23 planets to explore. So yeah, this is a great game for all LEGO and Star Wars fans.
Players can start at the beginning with Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, begin the original trilogy with Star Wars: A New Hope, or launch right into Star Wars: The Last Jedi or Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Players will also have the power to revisit any planet, at any time, in any order they wish.
This LEGO game came out on PC in April 2022. It also has Very Positive Reviews on Steam. According to SteamDB, it only had 2K concurrent players at its peak. So, I’m not sure whether or not it sold well, despite its positive reviews.
Anyway, you can go ahead and acquire your free copy from this link.
Have fun!

Do they ever sell any games there? I never hear of it if they do except the timed exclusives because most gamers can't wait a year for the game to come to Steam. Maybe over 5 years ago Sweeney should have listened to the gamers that were saying "improve the store, don't give the store away" and then EGS wouldn't be a half-a*sed flop where collectively gamers own tens of millions of games that they will never even play anyway. They probably only ever log on to EGS to horde more freebies and then leave without even looking around. What a pointless store.
I did play several games there, Death Stranding, Mordhau, Warframe, Elite Dangerous. I don't know why you need to be such an ingrate.
"Modern Audiences" like to gripe and whine a lot
now it's better to call "epic flop store" LOL
The EGS operates at a loss, but it's sustained by Fortnite and Unreal Engine, so basically they have money forever to pay devs for all those free giveaways.
No improvements to the store would change the fact that Steam is the standard that started 15 years earlier, where mostly every game is released, everyone is already deeply invested in it, and it's the most featureful. It's a lost battle for anyone trying to compete.
I guess I have a bitter taste left in my mouth over EGS because over 5 years ago Sweeney made the bold promise that EGS would one day rival Steam. I defended the store for a couple of years and said it takes time to build up EGS but he did very little. It was 3 years before the sh*t store even got a damn Shopping Cart. A f*cking shopping cart is a universal feature from day one on any other store on the net for as long as I can remember.
Instead he pressed on with the free games which increased membership but not revenue (fail). And he still wants to do timed exclusives which just p*sses a lot of people off and is anti-competitive.
Why did he even bother to open a store to begin with (besides his grudge against Steam)? Billionaires and their massive egos.
It was good news back then and inwas cautiously optimistic, but they had to move FAST, and moving at a glacial pace killed its momentum and chances or potential, which is just sad.
But at least we have GOG, which is the real one we should be supporting because at least it stands by the cause of game preservation and offline installers.
This is also available through Prime Gaming although it still downloads from Epic. Better yet Prime Gaming has Dishonored Definitive Edition and Call of Juarez – Gunslinger available via GOG for free right now.
lol even free, we don't want their woke games.
Once again, John "forgets" to announce the other game being offered for free, @sshole move.
