Great to see XP support is finally dropped in games. Now let’s focus on actually using DX10/11 features and I’m a happy gamer!
+1 Hell yeah let that s*it and X86 die loong ago 🙂
DX11 and 64 bit all the way!
Yep ! Thats Future and The DX12 and OGL 4.5 and Mantle
LOL, we have to wait two years else to see a real difference between DX9 and DX11 games, actually all those DX11 games like BF4 and would be looking exactly the same with DX9 on windows XP, Devs just become lazy this last year so they only want to optimize their game for just one type of OS. Its ok, cause is a pain in the ass to care about the optimization and bugs of every OS outthere, but dont think you are receiving much better looking games just because you are playing then on DX11, the only reason that I dropped my windows XP is because 64 bit operative systems are much better optimized for my new PC, thats all. DX11 sucks, Im better waiting more games on OPENGL or Mantle.
not bad, considering its a Unreal Engine3 game. i’m expecting it to be a good port, also a performance analysis 😉
I just hope there is good keyboard and mouse implementation.
considering its unreal engine 3 i am suprised it doesnt run on 32 bit.
they don’t want it to run on a 32bit system that’s all… all new games can run very well on 32bit system… but they want us to buy more stuff to justify this next gen bs.
meh too lazy to optimize for xp and 32 bit, they just wanna bother with as less setups as possible to ensure that there wont be bugs, they dont wanna bother with all that, and thats cool but could i get quadcore utilization?
Irrespective of this, any PC gamer should be using 64bit at this time.
Dynasty Warriors 8 XL Complete Edition PC release date is May 13th.

Overall, the requirements kind of strike me the the weird way. The graphics and processor requirements are all great mind you, but the 64 bit system requirement doesn’t make sense. Basically, if your minimum requirement for memory is at least 2GB of RAM, the 32 OS should be supported as well, so that those who are using around only 4 gb of ram with a 32 bit version of windows can also run it. Otherwise, you may as well have a 4gb ram requirement as minimum, because honestly, if a PC user has a 64 bit OS version, odds are that he will have more ram than that.
I know. The main thing I like about DX10/11 is the better looking smoke. For some reason I really like realistic smoke in games 🙂
