Call of Duty Modern Warfare-2

Here are the PC graphics settings for Call of Duty Modern Warfare Open Beta

The Open Beta phase for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare begins in under an hour, and we can finally reveal its PC graphics settings. From the looks of it, PC gamers will be able to adjust a number of graphics settings. However, it appears that there won’t be any support for Ray Tracing.

Going into more details, PC gamers can adjust the quality of Textures, Texture Filtering, Particles, Bullet Impacts and Tessellation. There are also options for Shadow Map Resolution, Cache Spot Shadows, Cache Sun Shadows, Ambient Occlusion and Lighting. Moreover, there is a resolution scaler, options for Film Grain and Colorblind, as well as a Field of View Slider.

As we can clearly see, there aren’t any options for Ray Tracing. Not only that, but there isn’t any setting for DLSS. Now while NVIDIA has not confirmed whether the game will support DLSS, it makes zero sense not to add it, especially for those that want to enjoy the game’s Ray Tracing effects.

But anyway, the PC Open Beta phase for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare begins today for those that have pre-ordered the game. For the rest of the players, the beta will open tomorrow.

Enjoy the following screenshots and stay tuned for more!

    1. Same here bro, Ive bought all previous COD for the single player. I enjoy them alot, I see them as action movies, and I love me some old 80s/90s action movies.

I only ever play the MP when friends ask me to hop in. but other than that, Im in single player.

      1. This is pretty much it. They usually deliver very good cinematic experiences, that very much make you feel like an action hero. I skipped quite a few after Modern Warfare 3 so I’m not up to speed on them, but I’ll probably play the campaign of this one and move right on past it. The only multiplayer I really enjoyed was zombies when they first came out and the survival modes where you fight waves of enemies, but that quickly grew to be boring as well.

    2. This game has been triggering attention-seeking SJWs hoping to be ‘outraged’ months prior to release so it’s probably great by CoD standards.

      1. I can’t remotely begin to disagree with this logic. What?? SJW’s are triggered by this new movie/game/tv show I’ve never even heard of before they started b1ch1ng about it?? Sign me up! You just found a new #1 fan of the franchise.

        1. Damn right! With entertainment media nowadays the instance of a dire critics’ rating paired with a positive consumer rating on a site such as the increasingly discredited Rotten Tomatoes is a fair guarantee that the movie is good.

We see movies, video games, comics and more reviewed by such critics in the media whereby the so-called review is primarily concerned with the ‘political messaging’ present (even when there is none) rather than the quality of the product. Such reviews and their ratings are essentially based on how many ‘social justice’ tickboxes are checked.

The disconnect between the vast overwhelming majority of people and a media infiltrated by Far Left SJWs obsessed with identity politics has become a yawning chasm.

          1. Do you feel that recent events like Dave Chapelle’s Sticks and Stones are indicators that this nonsense may finally start dying out as it should?

          2. I’d certainly like to believe so but suspect it’ll take a repeat of further similar such instances for real momentum to be gained.

It’s election year next year in the US so the conduct of the SJW-infested media is going to become exponentially more insane and detached from reality as the months roll by so that could add significantly to the momentum started by Sticks and Stones, etc.

The great irony of course being that without SJW lunacy including identity politics there’d have been no Donald Trump ascending to the Presidency. In 2020, just like in 2016, Trump’s inadvertent greatest ally in ensuring electoral victory will be the Far Left. Trump’s 2016 election triumph was more so a rejection of what Hillary represented than a vote for him per se, in my opinion.

          3. Chapelles humor was always an outcast one. It doesnt mean jack for the rest of the scene.

Some of his racial stuff was very advanced for its age. People laugh, but still wont get the message, because their ordinary lives differ from Daves.

  1. New engine, old crappy matchmaking and netcode, in past 10 matches in every match:
    – I took dmg behind cover even if I was like good 2 sec. behind it -.-
    – Hit reg is awful, dude took full package of bullets, and they didn’t kill him but in revenge he manage to react to that after 5 seconds (Mr slowpoke) and kill me in one shoot to body (LOL)
    – Plenty of campers, proper name for this game: Call of Duty – Modern Camper
    – Game displays invalid ping values
    – Matches feel like fkn P2P instead of dedicated server.
    – Footsteps sound is bad, you hear someone but it’s hard to point out him, bcs sometimes if someone is close volume of footsteps is low and vice versa
    – There are already some magicans that can kill trough few walls, got even dudes with WH -.-

    1. Cannot comment on the others, but You do know not all cover is bullet proof right? The game is going back to realism like COD4, so if you are behind a wood panel, you will get hit, even some metal walls will still get you damage because in real life very few things actually stop bullets.

alot of games are like this now. its not just COD.

  2. I have no idea how a modern game can run like sh*t on a RTX2080 like this… fps seems fine – 160-200 or something like that, but EVERYTHING seems sluggish, slow and laggy. On top of that I agree with fragmajster – you get instantkilled from enemies ALOT, you hit them 4-5-6 times and they turn to 1 shot you. Much worse than previous games. Footsteps are LOUD, from your teammates enemies are all silent ninjas that you cannot hear at all.

  3. i’ve been playing the beta with PC and i dont know if it’s just me but the graphics look soft af–even with the settings turned on the highest. Hell Battlefield 3 had better graphics than this…i hope it’s the beta.
