In its Game & Network Services Segment, Sony revealed how many copies Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and The Last of Us Part I have sold on PC.
According to the company, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered has sold 1.5 million copies by the end of its FY2022 Forecast. As such, the game generated $52 million in revenue. Sony has also previously stated that Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered was its fastest selling game on PC.
On the other hand, The Last of Us Part I sold 368K units in its first month, generating $15.5 million in revenue. The Last of Us Part I had a troublesome PC launch, so it will be interesting to see its PC sales figures in Sony’s next quarterly report. After all, the game is currently in a better state, especially if you own CPUs that are as powerful as an Intel Core i9 9900K.
As we’ve reported, Sony plans to further expand its portfolio on PC. The company claims that by 2025, 40% of its first-party releases will be on PC.
Lastly, Sony estimates to make $450 million in FY23. If that does happen, the team will have successfully doubled its PC revenue year-over-year.
Stay tuned for more!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. People ask why Sony exclusives all feel like they’re the same game.
Because they’re all made by the same 2 studios.
Virtuos in China and Lakshya Digital in India.
If they want more revenue they should port the games that PC gamers actually want like Bloodborne and demons souls. Not trash like sack boy for 70 usd
They have no reason to port games that aren’t advancing social engineering in some form. Hence why they’re never going to port Bloodborne or Ghosts of Tsushima.
tsushima is woke, all women are badasses.
Lol, Japan had lots of Badass Samurai women in their history, how could this game become Woke you ?

I recommend to you watch ENDYMIONtv YouTube channel to understand principles of wokism in movies and video games
no japan did not have “lots” japan is huge and you nitpick, i bet most stories of this will be fake like it happens in the west and i am subbed to endymion but he is a normie he doesnt understand why these things are done.
Save your breath, the He Man Woman Haters Club will never like strong women in games ….. Best to just let they wallow in their own hatred and move on and enjoy life like they cannot
Angry and bitter young men only grow up to be angry bitter old men
You are going to take Massive L in tonight Sony showcase, because PC port has been profitable for Sony, they only care about money more than ” advancing social engineering “
GoT is SJW game though.
Sony setting perfect example that non denuvo games can make money too.
I’d argue that CD Projekt is the perfect example of that as The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 are some of the best-selling titles of all time on PC. And let’s not forget the success of their DRM-free storefront that is GOG. Don’t get me wrong, I still despise them for their full commitment to ESG, but I give credit where credit’s due.
If only Cyberpunk wasn’t like that, they would’ve been in a much respectable state. Still gog is savior though. Lets hope they earn back their reputation with quality games in future.
Yet people still fanboying EGS and steam, talking about which is more customer friemdly while the real customer friendly option sit in the corner mostly ignored… Yep DRM are our own fault because we, PC gamer, keep buying them
The only reason Sony doesn’t use Denuvo is because they already got their investment back when it was under the Playstation DRM and couldn’t be stolen by unethical sleazebags
I expected Spider-Man to sell more given its popularity. Those are meh numbers.
I guess the ‘Master Race’ is only interested in trash and Microtransactions.
Nah people just aren’t that interested in spending money on several year old games for full price that are in fact just ports, most of them unoptimized. Release them a year or so after, then maybe.
If the master race is interested in trash then why don’t they buy Soyny goyslop? Checkmate atheists.

it sold more than half the budget of a AAA game, how much more you want it to sell after all those years?
Likewise, but then I remembered that the price of Spiderman Remastered on PC hasn’t really fallen very much. I am waiting for it to drop a little more. The same applies to Uncharted 4.
You think I’m going to spend $60 to play a guy in a leotard?
I found it for $43 on Greenman ….. It runs and looks nice but it’s just a so-so game but I’m not all that into the MCU or the DCU or Anime or any of that cartoonish stuff
I wouldn’t say its a bad game, just not my type of game and got kind of bored with it about half way through. I liked HZD and GoW much better
Yep, I rush to finish it and not like the Spidey 2 2004 that I enjoy thoroughly due to its swing mechanic (a.k.a the most important gameplay in Spider-Man). The sequel also seems like just another push one button to swing and you wont fail kind of thing like this, the trailer still shows pretty visible buffer zone above that will keep you from touching the ground. C’mon, Insomniac, make a believable swing simulator, didnt need to be physically accurate just make us like giving some effort to make spidey swings.
I’m not 10 anymore, I don’t care about Spiderman.

I’m waiting for GHOST OF TSUSHIMA PC port announcement in PlayStation showcase tonight

me too, I hope it comes this year…
Moral of the story. Have Nixxes do the big game releases.
Sales would prob be higher if the games weren’t so damn overpriced
tLoU1 PC would’ve been such an easy slam dunk. Coming off the hype of the recently aired HBO TV series, they could’ve easily sold at least a million copies in a few short months. All they had to do was launch an actually finished product, not some broken, glorified early access garbage.
True, I hopped on steam to buy it and looked at the reviews and did a quick pass. I will revisit the release when it is around $20-$30 if they have the performance issues taken care of.
