Hearthstone: Knights of The Frozen Throne Announced

Blizzard have announced their new expansion coming to their online card game Hearthstone. Knights of the Frozen Throne will be released on August 10th and will allow for players to claim the Lich King’s Frozen Throne by travelling to Northrend and battling the Ice crown Citadel.

The expansion will feature a total of 135 new cards being added to the game for which 9 new cards will be something called ‘Legendary Hereos.’ Blizzard have also added a new power called ‘Lifesteal’ which simply allows the player to heal themselves for the amount of damage they inflicted on the enemy.

Not only is there cards and powers being added but there is also missions. Eight new missions have been added, allowing for players to venture to the Frozen Citadel and fight numerous bosses but most importantly the Lich King himself.

The price for this new is expansion is $49.99.

  2. The price is not 49.99$. Thats for a completely optional bundle of 50 packs. The expansion itself is free for everyone.
