Square Enix has announced that its HD-2D RPG, LIVE A LIVE, will be coming to PC on April 27th. In order to celebrate this announcement, the company released a new gameplay trailer that you can find below.
In this JRPG, players will meet seven heroes, each with their own unique abilities and lives to live across different time periods. Players will experience their stories in any order they choose, uncovering shocking developments along the way.
According to the following trailer, a demo will be available later today. At the time of writing, we don’t know whether this demo is exclusive to Playstation or not.
For what it’s worth, the Steam store page for LIVE A LIVE is not available yet. However, we can safely assume that the game will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. After all, this is Square Enix we’re talking about.
Enjoy!
UPDATE:
You can download the PC demo from here. And yes, as we suspected, the game will be using Denuvo.

Damn I remember playing this f*king forever ago on the emulators. I remember it being a really innovative game. Way ahead of it’s time. Glad they are finally doing it justice for a western audience. I had to rely on custom translations back in the day. Game reminds me more of a modern game which focuses on story but it came out in 1994 when stories were actually new and not just derivative.
It’s been out on Switch since last year. It’s coming to PC and PS4/5 now.
