Halo 5: Forge will get a custom game server browser post-launch

343 Industries franchise development director for Halo, Frank O’Connor, has confirmed that Halo 5: Forge will get a custom game server browser. While this feature won’t be available at launch, however O’Connor claimed that it will be coming via a patch after Halo 5: Forge’s release.

As Frank O’ Connor wrote on NeoGAF:

“Dude I’m getting good at Mouse/Keyboard. I may get a gaming rig for my house. Once the custom game browser is available I think the community might get crazy legit.”

“Won’t be there at launch. But it’s comin”

    1. Alternatively, they tried a cease & desist on him, he told them to f*ck off, & now they’re trying to put him out of business?

      ;D

Agreed though, it is interesting to see them going this far. On the other hand, this level of investment into Halo 5 Forge has now got me thinking “incoming Premium payment plan.”

      1. if they go paywall mode on this itll be a mess, they dont have the decency to give us the actual game, just a mapmaker for the console players so i hope they dont try to squeeze money out of this.
