And the time has finally come. Sony has just announced that God of War: Ragnarok will be officially released on PC on September 19th. To celebrate this announcement, the publisher shared a new PC trailer that you can find below.
According to Sony, the PC version will support NVIDIA DLSS 3.7, AMD FSR 3.1 and Intel XeSS 1.3. It will also have support for ultra-wide PC monitors. However, there won’t be any support for Ray Tracing.
To celebrate this announcement, Sony shared the first PC trailer which you can find below. I also expect its Steam store page to go live in a matter of minutes or hours. Once that happens, I’ll be sure to update the article with more details.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
UPDATE:
The game’s Steam store page is now live with some new details. Jetpack Interactive will be the studio that will port God of War: Ragnarok to the PC. Regarding graphical enhancements, PC gamers can expect better reflections, lighting, and higher fidelity shadows, as well as increased geometric detail.
The PC version will also give you access to the God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla DLC for no additional cost. And, in case you’re wondering, no. Sony hasn’t shared any PC requirements yet.
It’s also worth noting that the game will require a PlayStation Network Account. So, similarly to Ghost of Tsushima and Helldivers 2, you won’t be able to get it in countries that do not officially support PSN. It sucks but we all saw it coming. At least you know about it from the get-go. It’s really a bummer as the first GoW game did not require a PSN account, and you could purchase it in the countries that do not support it. Heh, I guess some will have to sail the high seas.
Stay tuned for more!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. Sony starting the BS for the PC Player.
$60 to watch 4 hours of cutscenes.
No thanks, Sony.
Oh shut up. The game is great.
It's not a game, it's another cinematic walking simulator from Sony. If you like these type of handholding experiences for hyper casuals, that's fine, but they're not games.

It really is a game. Due to high sales, the borders between cinema and games are getting blurrier every day, whether you like it or not. If you don't, there's always some bland online shooting PvSomething out there with zero cinematic experience, repetitive stuff to do and a low budget for you to enjoy.
There are a lot of people who will always like cinematic, story-driven, single-player AAA video games, and there's nothing you can do about it. So the sooner you accept this fact, the less you're going to suffer in this life.
Cinema is cinema, if game tried to be cinema, its just walking simulator not fully games no matter how good the presentation is because there is no interactive elements that qualified it to be call as a real game. Games, no matter how simple it is, need to have that interactive elements whether in its story or gameplay that affecting that game circumstances.
Even simple games like text adventure or visual novel still have that interactive part where our choice affecting the game world or vice versa.
What game?
"I never had kids, so I don't have to like sh*t like God of War or Finding Nemo or other dumb sh*t that's made for parents and kids."
GOOOOODS WHERE IS MY SOY- I mean- BOY
Another pretentious walky talky moviegame made by and for people who hate video games. No thanks.
Lots of Sony games released on pc this year. I’m terribly far behind in my backlog queue but plan to wait for the end of the year Epic sale and buy them all in one go. Did that last year and made out like a bandit.
Yeah, I tend to pirate most of their games on PC and only buy if they ever get good discounts.
Remove the walking sim sections, remove the gore censorship, remove the little b*tch that constantly wants to talk to me, remove gay/tr4nny/black norse gods, remove the combat system and replace it with something else, then we'll talk.
Agree with some point, but I think the combat system (if its similar to 2018 GoW) is fine, are you wanted it to be more like classic GoW 1,2, and 3 combat?
FSR 3.1 addition is nice for AMD users.
if it include separated FG from upscaler being used like Ghost of Tsushima, it will be great
Why not Nixxes?
This game was a big disappointment.
all of the sony sequels were, either too woke or lack of creativity. either way bad writing killed all of the sony sequels.
