Fortnite surpasses one million players, Survival mode coming on August 29th

Epic Games has announced that its third-person action building game, Fortnite, has surpassed one million players. Fortnite was launched in Early Access on July 25th, meaning that it took Epic almost a month to hit its one million milestone. In addition, the team revealed that a Survival mode will be coming to Fortnite on August 29th.

Fortnite is powered by Unreal Engine 4 and invites players to team up as they build massive forts and battle against hordes of monsters, all while crafting and looting within giant worlds where no two games are ever the same.

The first reviews for Epic’s latest title were not that positive as a lot of reviewers felt that the game’s progression system was flawed. The good news here is that the game is in Early Access and things may improve over the next few months. Not only that,  but Epic Games will release the game as a F2P title in 2018.

  1. Nice, i’ll wait a bit longer for them to iron out bugs and gameplay features and i’ll jump in the “repetitive” fun. But you know, friends make the fun soo :$

  2. why? it sucks. another trash f2p game that gets attention, yet ive never heard a word about MxM on this site…. go figure. screw pc exclusives. give attention to a multi-plat title that doesnt need or deserve it.

      1. your wrong and you should neer open your mouth again because you obviously have no f`in idea about anything, you piece of trash

    1. Nope, PC users.
You can see if they are on PS or PC ingame.
I have it on both and it’s actually impressive how easy the game is to play with controllers. Plus the cross platform play is cool.
I bought the Ultimate edition for $250, just to have everything as I don’t have time.
I just hope they don’t ruin it.
