First details & gameplay footage for Crytek’s Hunt: Showdown to be revealed at E3 2017

Crytek has announced that it will be showing gameplay from Hunt: Showdown to select partners and media at this year’s E3. From the sound of it, this gameplay footage won’t be available to the public, however Crytek claimed that it will reveal more details about its title at E3. As such, the company may release a gameplay trailer to the public.

Based on the previously announced title Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age, Crytek’s Hunt: Showdown has taken the original concept in a different direction under a new development team.

A teaser for the upcoming PvP monster hunter went live on the game’s website recently, and more details about the game will be revealed during E3.

    1. I don’t see that comparison. The gameplay we had looked like Resi 4/5 coop. No player-controlled monsters. PVE, not PVP. I don’t know if a Resi 4/5 style game is still viable, if there are people waiting for that type of game. I wouldn’t know who those people are, never liked third person console shooters.

      1. If you need to scratch that Left4Dead itch check out Vermintide. My only complaint is I still think performance can be improved.

      2. I liked the 2014 footage. I was looking forward to that game. I hope it hasn’t changed drastically from that.
