Boris Vorontsov has released the first version of his ENBSeries mod for Fallout 4. As Boris noted, this version includes only few generic features of the mod (like the AntiFreeze patches Boris did for Skyrim in the past).
As Boris noted:
“This is patch without any graphic enhancements. It fixes game specific bugs or at least designed for that as i don’t have bugs for test them myself. Please post here results, if it helps, on the contrary CTDs or new kind of bugs with it, incompatiblity with other software.”
Those interested can download ENBSeries mod version 0.280 from here.
Kudos to our reader ‘Unreal’ for informing us!

No warning for AMD users that Boris is currently not supporting them?
From the homepage,
“31 october 2015
Got report that recent ENBSeries 0.279 may damage videocard if heavy effects enabled. Too high optimization for ambient occlusion easily breaks low quality or overclocked hardware. I don’t see any point in degrading optimization or slowing down something, if hardware unable to handle it, burn this shit. Obviously, AMD cards are the weakest for the issue, so i strongly advise to not use ambient occlusion and reflection with any overclocked and/or hot models, especially high-end category like 6990, 7970, 7990, etc. Underclocking and using frame limiters and vsync may help to avoid issues. From this moment i do not support AMD cards at all, for any version of the mod, current or made in future, i am not a big fan of wasting money to fix mistakes of any vendor.”
A lean mod would be pretty cool, probably won’t happen for a few months though 🙁
You know you can lean out of cover right? Just aim at the edge of the wall and the character will point the gun around it.
No I didn’t thanks! But would that be useful for someone playing the game for stealth purposes?
Yeah, but the game/engine has issues with the geometry. At times you have clear line of sight, however the bullets hit the air like it would be something there. 🙂
