Nordcurrent Labs has just released on PC a new isometric, narrative-driven stealth game, called Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream. This game has received some solid reviews from the press. Not only that, but there is a demo you can download and try.
Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream is using Unreal Engine 5 and has some amazing cut-scenes. This is something you wouldn’t expect to see in an isometric game. But thanks to UE5, small teams are now able to create cinematics that can match those of other triple-A titles.
In this game, you play as Hanna. Hanna will go on a big adventure through Eriksholm to find her missing brother and figure out what happened to him. You’ll explore cool locations and follow an exciting story as Hanna tries to bring her family back together.
You can also switch between three different characters. Each one has their own special abilities. You’ll use these skills to get into new areas, solve puzzles, and deal with enemies in smart ways.
Since this is a stealth game, you’ll need to stay hidden. You can watch how guards move, use the environment to your advantage, and find smart ways to sneak past obstacles. Use cover, stay quiet, and create distractions to avoid being seen.
To run the game, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 or AMD Radeon RX 580. The devs recommend using an Intel Core i5-10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 5500 with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT.
You can go ahead and download the demo from this link.
If you are a fan of the stealth genre, you should definitely check it out. After all, we rarely get any stealth games these days. So, don’t sleep on it. This could very well be the “Clair Obscur” for isometric stealth games.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

If you expect something like commandos or mimimi games, don't bother.
It's a beautiful game but very linear and lackluster compared to goats of this genre.
So it's a bit like Commandos and Desperados, right?
I'm worried about the "narrative-driven" part though.
Usually, I hate games that are advertised like that cos they're extremely linear.
Also, the setting doesn't appeal to me at all. Maybe cos it looks too much like where I come from.
If it has quicksaves and offer some immersive-sim-LITE freedom, maybe I'll give it a try.
On a side note, in the same category, after playing several levels of Commandos Origins, I can safely say it's my favorite Commandos of all, BY FAR.
The negative reviews on Steam are just either blind nostalgic fans, or people who played the early bugged versions. Fantastic game.
Tried the demo when it originally released, and this game has impressive graphics for a AA game. It seems we're getting many games from smaller studios that have gotten people playing genres that they don't usually play, like Expedition 33 and The Alters. This looks like another such game, can't wait to pirate and play.
I like the efforts you have put in this, regards for all the great content.
It's not isometric.
Go and teach the devs who don’t know what they’ve been creating 😛
For the reason that the admin of this site is working, no uncertainty very quickly it will be renowned, due to its quality contents.
A very linear game with very few mechanics. It quickly becomes boring and repetitive.
Solid reviews from the game press – Kinda like The Failguard that was a total dumpster fire? With that kind of urinalism – It's a far greater chance the game is trash than good, if they give it good score – Its most of the time only clear indication of what the urinalisms are most interested in – Politics rather than the actual game.
If they give it good score its likely trash infested with modern politics, while if it gets low scores it could be interesting and devoid of politics and rather game first. My 2 cents of most of todays game mainstream urinalism.
"You’ll explore cool locations and follow an exciting story as Hanna tries to bring her family back together."
Meaning, a vomit inducing hollywood-like piece of shït.
Another indie dev hurting their chances of success by forcing the Stronk wahmen into a males past-time. Wahmen love Isometric strategy Vidya games and makeup tutorials ….. ridiculous. This plus flintlock, eternal shards, south midnight, etc all doomed themselves.
