NACON and Eko Software have announced that their action RPG, Dragonkin: The Banished, will be fully released on March 19th. To celebrate this announcement, the publisher shared a new trailer that you can find below.
In Dragonkin: The Banished, you play as one of four dragon hunters trying to save humanity from powerful dragons. The game lets you create many different builds by upgrading your character in lots of ways. You improve your abilities using a special system called the Ancestral Grid, which uses fragments you collect during your journey.
You will also use the City of Montescail as your main hub. There, you can plan your strategy and access many helpful services. Along the way, you’ll explore an interesting story and take on a busy endgame filled with activities and huge, exciting battles. Plus, you’ll be joined by your loyal dragonling companion.
Dragonkin: The Banished has been in Early Access for a while, and it has already gotten better with a new character, new battle areas, and lots of updates. Players can already play through the first chapter, but version 1.0 will bring a lot more. The full release will include four chapters, different biomes, and many new enemy types.
Right now, players can explore a large, corrupted world, try the endgame content, and choose from four unique heroes. Each hero fights alongside a dragon companion that gives helpful passive bonuses and strong active skills.
The game also focuses heavily on customization. Its special progression system, the Ancestral Grid, works like a puzzle. Players place their skills on the grid to create strong combos and build the perfect playstyle for fighting huge waves of enemies.
NACON has also shared the game’s final PC system requirements. PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5-6600 or an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 470. With this PC setup, you will be able to run it at 1080p with 30FPS on Medium Settings.
For gaming at 1080p/60FPS on High Settings, you’ll need an Intel Core i5-10500 or AMD Ryzen 5 3700X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 or an AMD Radeon RX 5700XT.
