Bethesda has announced that in December it will release a new update for Dishonored 2 that will add a new game plus mode, as well as new custom difficulty settings.
According to the publisher, more details on the content of this update (including the exact release date) will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Moreover, Arkane Studios is currently working on the second performance update for the PC version of Dishonored 2 that will address a broader range of issues including performance, and is estimated to be available in the next week.
In case you weren’t aware of, our PC Performance Analysis article has been delayed until this second performance patch gets released. However, expect a number of 4K screenshots from Dishonored 2 later today or tomorrow.

Still waiting for the final version of the patch to fix stuff, and they’re already thinking about a patch to add stuff?
“Moreover, Arkane Studios is currently working on the second performance update for the PC version of Dishonored 2 that will address a broader range of issues including performance, and is estimated to be available in the next week.”
I’m loving this trend we’ve got going when it comes to Bethesda and details on them fixing the game, all we hear is “fixing the performance” and “performance improvements”, then we hear nothing as to what they truly did fix and what we gained from it. May as well go back to the old days and cram in “blast processing” in there while we’re at it.
I won’t be buying the game until it runs as it should though, which could take half a year at best.
