Blizzard has just announced the dates for the Open Beta phase of Diablo 4. Furthermore, IGN has shared the opening cinematic that you’ll be experiencing when you get your hands on the Open Beta.
Those who have pre-purchased Diablo IV will receive Early Access to the Open Beta from March 17–19. On the following weekend, the Open Beta will be available to everyone from March 24–26.
During both the Open Beta and Early Access weekends, players will be able to explore the early game of Diablo IV. This includes a first taste of the campaign via the Prologue and the entirety of Act 1
For the Open Beta and Early Access weekends, your character can only level up to Level 25. Players will be able to clear hellish hordes from dungeons, complete intriguing quests provided by the locals, and amasse powerful loot from fallen foes.

The only reason I have any hope for this game is the ex employee Blizzard otherkins cried about representation and the story and characters not being about them in the Washington Post (far left joke of a newspaper). The story is from an ex CDPR guy and it appears they actually give a sh@!^ about the game going back to being a dark feel and theme, unlike WoW which looks like Disney crap.

Several current and former employees also found the representation and depiction of women in “Diablo IV” to be uninspired, particularly the game’s antagonist, Lilith, Queen of the Succubi. Some women in the game are relegated to traditional gender roles, or undermined by their proximity to a man.
“The story is just mid when it comes to diversity topics,” said a current Blizzard Albany employee, using slang meaning mediocre. “It doesn’t really do anything special there at all, or much of anything. I had complaints about the way we handle Lilith, I think we’ve turned her into someone who’s less interesting as a villain than she could be, if handled by a better writer.”
The most upsetting management decision for many employees came from Barriga’s pick for creative director, Sebastian St?pie?. St?pie?, who had been brought on in 2019 to revise the game’s story, was previously creative director on the “The Witcher 3” and head writer on “Cyberpunk 2077.” His decisions were a source of turmoil for the Diablo team, some employees say. While the practice of starting work and then scrapping it if it wasn’t up to par was common at Blizzard, employees said “Diablo IV” underwent a series of particularly disturbing revisions to the script. St?pie? did not respond to a request for comment.
Only a fool would believe modern Blizzard, that is for sure.

Just looking at the art it seems like all the activists are now on WoW making storylines about marrying 2 male centaurs and the old school style art is on Diablo where they got giant statues of naked ladies with snakes coming out of their head in Scosglen on the official site. This is probably why those people quit and talked in the newspaper article. Everything, from his clothes to his face is too clean. Clothes should be dirty and face should have cuts and cracks from the icy cold. They just made a model and stuck it in without thinking of the environment he’s in, how long he’s been traveling etc. Blizzard is a cold dead husk of what it was.
