Frontier Foundry has announced that Deliver Us Mars is free to keep on Epic Games Store for a limited time. Until November 30th, PC gamers can visit its EGS page and acquire their free copy.
Deliver Us Mars is a sci-fi adventure game that came out in February 2023. It was powered by Unreal Engine 4, and featured Ray Tracing for reflections and shadows. Plus, it also had native support for NVIDIA’s DLSS 2 and 3.
For those wondering, yes. Deliver Us Mars is the sequel to Deliver Us The Moon. In this game, you get to go on an adventure to find the ARK colony ships that got taken by some mysterious group called the Outward. It’s all about exploring new places and dealing with high-stakes situations.
When Deliver Us Mars first came out, it had major CPU issues, especially if you turned on its Ray Tracing effects. At launch, the game mainly used one CPU core/thread. I’m not sure if the game creators fixed this issue with updates. However, if you want to enable Ray Tracing, you’ll have to use the latest and greatest CPU.

These poor games are “free” just like Linux is “free”.
It’s only free if your time is worthless.
Instead of wasting hours in a bad “free” game, you could have just spent a few bucks on a decent indie game worth your time.
So many words to say that you don’t like the game. Why is it not worth the time (genuine question)?
It’s a walking simulator, which isn’t a popular genre on here, hence the negative comments.
Aside from that, it’s an underwhelming sequel to a kickstarted game. Worse puzzles, story, platforming and graphics. They changed the protagonist to a strong wahman (can’t have a man as a lead in 2023) with Lara Croft climbing and animations made by hands of interns; stiff and broken.
There’s a reason this is being given away for free less than a year after release.
Indeed, I watched a couple of reviews. Your comment above sums it up. Not worth the time playing. Indeed, I just bought Spiderman Remastered and Uncharted Collection in a black Friday sale and I know that will enjoy those games (after finishing Tears of the Kingdom on Yuzu this week, which I also bought a hard copy of).

Everytime I see ‘xx game’ is free on EGS, it just just keeps reminding me of the pestilence that is EOS (Epic Online Services). This is infesting more and more games, some of which that should never have had it.
Now if it was free or next to free on GoG, that would be more than welcome.

The game is great ,only the store and its owner are total garbage and fraudulent.
I tried it out. The devs have zero concept of animation rigging. All the characters entire hips rotate when they walk and it looks borked as hell. They also have zero sense of scale. So many things are totally the wrong size relative to each-other. The puzzles are also dull. Even though the game has mostly white people in it, the feminist agenda is quite strong here. If you are looking for an engaging story with great puzzles and pacing and general high quality then I recommend you play American Arcadia instead.
ive play 5 mins of DUTM and the player movement was bad enoghut I never played it agaib. I have never tried DUM, but if its based of the same engine, then it will likely have the same game-play issues.
