Deep Silver Has A Secret Title For PAX Prime, Will Show Gameplay From Volition’s Next Project

Deep Silver has just informed us about its PAX Prime plans. According to the publisher, the first gameplay footage for Volition’s next project will be revealed at the end of its Friday PAX Prime Volition Quiz Show.

As the publisher noted, this quiz show will last one hour (Friday, August 29th at 10am Pacific) and Natalie Lander, the voice of Kinzie, will also be present at it.

“At the end of the panel, we’ll show you exclusive gameplay, art, and details for an upcoming project from Volition.”

Saints Row 5 anyone? Or perhaps something completely different? Perhaps a new Red Faction?

Moreover, a secret title was included in Deep Silver’s list of PAX Prime games. We don’t know whether this secret title is the same with Volition’s project, though chances are really high. Still, this secret title will be present at Deep Silver’s PAX Prime booth.

Here are what Deep Silver has prepared for this year’s PAX Prime:

• Dead Island 2: Experience the first hands-on in the United States for the upcoming AAA zombie blockbuster from Yager Development.
• Escape Dead Island: World’s first consumer hands-on for the third person survival mystery spin-off, set in the Dead Island universe.
• Metro Redux: Play Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light together with all DLC now on newgen consoles running at a seamless 60fps.
• ?????????????????

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

    1. That would be really dumb of them to do, cause instead of “cashing in” on their popularity, it would be overshadowed by them, and make little to no money.

      1. How do you know? Some people still prefer Freespace 2 with mods to anything that either of those games has to offer.

      1. I’m afraid of that, really afraid, wouldn’t mind them going back to their roots with SR2 which still shines as the best in the series to me, but what are the chances that this isn’t SR5

  1. I’m hoping for Saints Row V. Volition said shortly after IV came out they were working on V. Since they pretty much had world ending consequences for the Saints where can than possibly go with the story?

  2. I hope it’s Saints Row 5 but with the destruction technology from the Red Faction games. If Volition could pull off entire skyscrapers being demolished like the buildings in Red Faction that would turn heads.

Atm, the Saints Row series needs something significant and unique over GTA5… and I reckon that destruction tech would be the unique selling point. Although Crackdown appears to be chasing this route already on the Xbox One… gonna be interesting 🙂

  3. I wouldn’t mind a new Red faction if it is anything like guerilla. Open World and third person.
But boy does this franchise need another spark.

  4. Offtopic: it’s impossible to get The Crew beta key from Ubisoft but Nvidia launched keys giveaway. Just go to geforce . com and get key. I will report later how game runs on my oldie GTX 460 w/ E8400. 😀

    1. 1080p, FXAA, Blur off, Shadows medium, everything else high – 30-29 fps, sometimes 27-12 fps. After 60fps unlock game crashes at launch.

    1. Looked like 3.5 but played more like prrototype than saints row

To be fair saints row 2 was basicly a expansion to the first game, same city same graphics.

      1. actually it has todo with how they do games and what budget they got.

Saints row 2 also took place in the same city as the first and same engine.

When thq gone down and deep silver bought them, they found out hat deep silver wasnt as big as thq, so the budger for the game would have to be smaller.

        For comparison.

        gta v 262m

Saints row iv? I bet it was 30 million or less.
