SFB Games has announced that its upcoming survival horror game, Crow Country, will be released on May 9th. To celebrate this announcement, the team shared a new gameplay trailer that you can find below.
Crow Country is a horror game with 32-bit retro-lovely graphics. This game looks exactly like a PS1/Saturn title. So, if you are fans of that console era, you should definitely keep an eye on it.
In Crow Country, you play as Mara Forest who investigates the abrupt closure of his theme park, Crow Country. The game will use an elevated third-person camera, and it will pack various puzzles to solve. It will also allow you to fight some monsters.
As players unlock new areas, they’ll be able to backtrack and discover more. Thus, they’ll gradually piece together why Edward really shut down his park and where he mysteriously disappeared to. Moreover, the game will have an Exploration Mode. This mode will allow you to journey on without the fear of being attacked by the mysterious monsters.
Finally, there is a PC demo you can download and play. So, if you are interested in this game, you should definitely get it. You can download it from this link.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!

I think the clunky graphics and old sound effects lends to a curious dread, has a richer feeling than many of the slick run of the mill games today. I dig it.
Plus, super important, clunky animations, builds up creepiness over time. Also, weirdish creepy soundtrack is adding a lot to the effect.
Really unexpectedly surprised!
Now this looks really cool
It’s like a crossover of Final Fantasy VII, Resident Evil 2 and Silent Hill 1. I dig it.
I don’t, it’s like mixing oil with water. RE2 and SH strived towards being horror games, not being a crossover with the popular rpg of the time.
I’ll be more specific. It has the aesthetic of FFVII, gameplay elements and atmosphere of both RE2 and SH1. I doubt the game actually has any RPG elements.
I know, i just think it is a poor fit.
