Codemasters has officially announced the next part in its Dirt series, Dirt 5. In order to celebrate this announcement, the team has released the game’s debut in-engine trailer that you can find below.
In Dirt 5, players will travel the globe and tame the most incredible off-road machines with their friends. Players will also be part of a vibe that delivers big on epic action, pure expression, and unbridled style.
Dirt 5 will be a cross-gen title, meaning that it will release on both current and next generation platforms. Since this is a cross-gen game, you should not expect major visual differences between the current-gen and the next-gen versions.
Dirt 5 releases in October 2020.
Enjoy!

Looks like this actually could be in game assets and rendering. Not bad at all.
if my memory serves me correctly, a number of devs from Evolution joined Codemasters which explains why the visuals resemble those of Driveclub, which is nice
Dirt Horizon?
Motorstorm: Dirt
They released the stunning Dirt 2, in 2009, with DX11 features to boot. And then they released a downgraded Dirt 3 2 years later. I’ll never forgive them for that
They did the same with Grid.
So the new decade is decade of mainly racing games. Just like the 90s. Good.
Also: Nolan North and Troy Baker are reportedly involved. no idea how
Update: “Dirt 5 stars Nolan North and Troy Baker as racing nemeses”
…interesting
