Capcom’s PRAGMATA will support Path Tracing on PC

NVIDIA and Capcom revealed that PRAGMATA will be the second Capcom game that will support Path Tracing on PC. To showcase some of its visual enhancements, NVIDIA released a new video that you can find below. This video packs some before/after comparison scenes.

Alongside Path Tracing, PRAGMATA will also support DLSS 4. This means that the game will have support for the new Transformer Model, as well as for Multi-Frame Gen. As such, RTX50 series owners will be able to use MFG to achieve high framerates when using Path Tracing.

PRAGMATA is set in a dark and futuristic version of Earth’s Moon. It promises an exciting adventure with amazing sci-fi visuals. Capcom wants to create a world that feels really immersive and unique. Back in 2024, the devs said the game would support Ray Tracing, but we’re not sure if that’s still true anymore.

In PRAGMATA, you assume the role of Hugh Williams. Hugh is a member of a team that was sent to investigate a lunar research facility that has lost contact. But then, after a lunar quake, Hugh is separated from his team. When he wakes up, Hugh finds himself saved by an android girl, Diana. Alongside her, you’ll have to find your way back to Earth.

Here’s what the devs have said about the game’s combat. First, you need to break the enemy’s armor. If you don’t, it’s hard to hurt them. That’s where Diana helps. She has special powers that can destroy the armor. After that, Hugh can attack the enemy’s weak spots to deal real damage.

PRAGMATA will have many different weapons and lots of enemy robots to fight. There will also be puzzles for players to solve. You’ll be able to explore the world using the special powers of both Diana and Hugh.

Capcom will release PRAGMATA on April 24th. You can also find its official PC system requirements here.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
