Capcom has just announced a remaster for the first Dead Rising game. Dead Rising first came out in 2006 on Xbox 360, and it was one of the best games for that console. And now, almost twenty years later, gamers will be able to experience that title once again.
Capcom hasn’t shared any additional details for Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster as of yet. However, you can find below its first in-engine teaser trailer. This trailer will give you a glimpse at the game’s graphics.
From what I can tell, Frank West has a higher quality 3D model. So, we can expect higher 3D models for all characters, better textures, and other small improvements. For instance, we’ll most likely get a better LOD system and better shadows. as well as new Ambient Occlusion effects.
There is currently no ETA on when Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will come out. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!

Wouldn't expect anything better from a literal pony
How many times are they going to remaster this game? I want Capcom to take this IP back into Japanese hands.
Finally surrendered to the yellow fever ain't cha?
I don't tink yellow fever means what you think it does abdul
I don’t “tink” you think at all, Vile Shlomo.
This is called a typing error abdul, it’s a common mistake.
Your understanding of yellow fever however comes from your Arabic IQ which flaots around 70 (real data).
People who makes lots of typos have an IQ that “flaots” around 50 (real data).
It appears you get your data from gay s3x clubs mr.abdul
Speaking of gay, have you defended your husband on the internet today?
Are you trying to imply that I’m a woman so that you can suck me off without coming out of the closet?
It’s embarassing to have to explain but here goes: You are gay married to Johnny.
You sound jealous. You want me all to yourself? guess what, it’s not happening.
Honestly i hated that game, yeah it was unique but i am not much into zombie games, to me the games with as few zombies as possible are the best zombies because instead of hordes, encounter with zombies are rare and scary when they happen. When you got endless zombies it cheapens them.
Most pointless remaster
I'm f*cking sick of these remasters and remakes, is the clear sign of a dying industry. Capcom loves the recycling especially.
I guess f*ck the people who didn't play the originals, right?
? the original was released on PC, and you can always use emulation. If you play on consoles you don't deserve any honest answer.
You may be sick, but there are some, like me,who didn't play the originals and now we have the better version.
If you played the original, why bother? move on,don't buy it,be smart.
My son,is still in primary school, only in 3 years from now i will buy his first console(he plays from time to time on mine) and like him are many.
So what he is supposed to do? play the old version in xbox360 720p 30fps graphics or the new one?
Making a Gaming PC in Romania costs a lot.
10.000 ron=2000 Euro for reference(mid config).
and if you want to build one with parts is even more expensive.
I forgot to point that medium pay here is around 5000 ron/1000 euro/month(diploma+5y of experience) and after take out rent, bills, food, etc you are left with around 200 euro for your hobbies/month or to buy unnecesary stuff like games,PC parts etc.

On PC there's always emulation as an option if you want to play the games that much, the OG was released on PC anyways so what's the point of this? ah yes…to milk it on the new consoles…well, if you play on consoles you deserve this sh*t
PS: i wouldn't call it the best version yet, there's a lot of potential in the game to mess up the mechanics to make it more "accesible" and a lot of censoring and rewriting to make it more "modern".
" the OG was released on PC anyways so what's the point of this?"
One issue is the constant threat of software/hardware incompatibility. The game released some 7 years or so ago, but will it work with a config from 10 years from now on?
Then the 360 version can be emulated, else the PS4 version will be viable since people will be working on PS4 emulation.
The proposition of remastering a remaster is ridiculous, very much a cash grab.
Depends on the scope of the remaster, and if they would allow the owners of the original PC port a free upgrade. It would be cool if devs can also act like modders, releasing graphical updates now and then, provided it’s free for original owners and it doesn’t suck.
If you think games are art, then they shouldn't be modified after the patching and goals for the product are complete. They are after all, a piece of history and should be kept that way.
For me, is OK to remaster a game as a second chance when the first one failed, had potential and it has room to improvement or some at the time ideas or techniques weren't possible due to the tech at the time.
If you want to milk an already success, at least remake it and make more in line with current standards, a remaster for something that already works or is not available in certain platforms is just milking a drying industry.

Games are an artistic medium yes, but that doesn’t mean you can’t change the paintbrush so to speak. For example i’m currently playing Doom 3 with Essential HD mod and Bravo mod, which changes some sounds, effects and gamepley elements, sometimes it massively improve old games, sometime it makes it crappier, such is life.
Yes, it does.
Dead Rising is a game for adults. Letting a child play such a game is irresponsible.
Who say i let him play this,i said in 3 years from now when he is 16.
But i guess you don't have kids, because kids nowdays know stuff even if you as a parent don't show.
There are kids at his school who have parents out of country and those kids live with grandparents, they are the spoiled ones.
My son saw GTAV and now whenever has the chance wants to play gta.
When i was in 6'th grade(12/13 years old) we runned from school to a net cafe to play CS and GTA Vice City…name a person who was a kid between 2000-2006 who don't know about Quake,Unreal Tournament,Mafia,CS,Warcraft 3 etc…
i play games since 96(8y old) i had a sega megadrive 2,only in 2003 i received my first PC for having high grades at primary school, the same i will do for my son,if he will score high i will buy him what he wants, until then he play on my ps5,he is better than me at souls games,by the way.
I think I'm done with modern games. All the gaming industry is at this point is either woke DEI trash, or remasters of games we already have. There is seldom a reason for a game to be remastered. I can think of maybe 3 in the last ten years that actually needed it. (System Shock Remake comes to mind).
Besides that, there is zero reason for the industry to be focusing this hard on remasters. I think it would be different if these companies were putting out like 3 major releases a year and having the C or D teams working on a handful of remasters throughout the year. But now it's like these remasters are the tentpole releases. I'm sick of it. Dead Rising was a fun game, and if they get rid of the awful time restriction it would be worth playing. But I'm done with these pointless remakes and remasters of games we already have. Give us something NEW!
These remasters are a sign that the gaming industry is on life support.
Remasters and remakes are a type of preservation.
No, is a safe bet on sales, a way of reselling what most people already played (if you weren't there at the time of release, you can always play the OG game if you are that curious, gotta love preservation).
Is also a sign that the creativity is lacking at least on the AAA industry…but that goes to all entertainment nowadays.
The three, original Resident Evil games are now available on GOG if anyone is interested.
Woah, awesome. Capcom putting more games on GOG. And the games are reasonably priced.
Always saw this game as more of an brief curiosity, got filtered by the so called "psycho" bosses and just coudn't be bothered to continue playing.
Will it include the typical Capcom yankiness?
ill buy it if for no other reason than capcom is one of the last companies that aren't going full r**ard…
Didnt they heard results of their own mega survey a while back ?? Dino Crisis, RE Code Veronica, Onimusha are amongst the highest requested to be remake and they announced the remake of 1st RE and this ?? What next , the remake of Lost Planet ?
to be fair, the releases on GOG of RE 1-3 are just the ancient PC ports re-released.
Let me fix that title for you:
Deadnuvo Rising Deluxe Remaster
