Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition announced, coming on April 7th

Gearbox has announced that a remastered version of Bulletstorm is coming to current-gen systems on April 7th. This remastered version is called Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition and in order to celebrate this announcement, Gearbox released the game’s debut trailer that can be viewed below.

Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition will feature hi-res textures, increased polygon counts, sterling audio, and smoother frame rates. In addition, this new version of Bulletstorm comes with all of the previously-released add-ons along with all-new content.

In Bulletstorm, players will step into the boots of Grayson Hunt after a crash landing on an abandoned resort planet forces him to make a hard choice: survival or revenge.

“An exiled member of the elite assassin group Dead Echo, Grayson’s reckless desire for vengeance finds his crew stranded on Stygia where he can finally confront the commander behind his betrayal—or get his team off the planet alive.”

Enjoy!

  1. UUMMM okay….. Who cares? Bulletstorm 2 that would be cool…. another cashgrab port of a game? really? i really hate gearbox more and more.

    1. Completely. I struggled to see any discernible differences when those 4 screeshots leaked a couple months ago and I still fail to find any.

        1. Indeed. I last played it in early 2015 and I never once thought that it needed a facelift to be honest. Had they anounced a sequel or a new IP altogether their efforts woul’ve been appreciated a lot more. This smells like a simple cash grab.

  2. On one hand, we can kill some remastered d!cks, on the other hand the remaster is coming for a company with a d!ck for a boss.

    1. Well not really, the game was announced as a part of gearboxes new publishing program for indie devs, the “remaster” is being done by the original studio.

  3. What is this…and u expect peope to preorder to get Duke in Bulletstorm..pfft..no thanks! I’d stick to my newer games rather than playing old remastered title..

  4. Gearbox, hmm sounds familiar. Isn’t it the same studio that shat their pants with Aliens Colonial Marines which basically went down in history as the first huge graphical downgrade (not to mention gameplay mechanics)? Looked it up, it IS them alright.

    1. Well, one of the earlier huge graphical downgrades.

…. Possibly the earliest in the 7th Console Generation, if nothing else.

      But yeah, nitpicking.

    1. A new story hit about how he was pulled off MGSV. Kojima Was Locked Away from His Team During MGSV’s Last Six Months of Development

  5. Steam is listing the Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition at 45.99 Euros, separately from the Bullestorm (OG) listing…….

    They cannot be serious?

  6. An new version of “Cutscenes: The Game” ? Never in the history of ever have I seen an action game ruining its own pace by constantly taking the control out of the hands of the player to impose useless cutscenes…

  7. If it means not giving money to Gearbox, maybe I’ll grab the original dirt cheap and hope for a free upgrade. Then again, this is the same company that’s charging $20 for Duke Nukem 3D.

I wouldn’t hold my breath, it seems.

      1. Jesus, they’re really asking $50 for this thing (without preorder discount)? Randy’s gonna have to contact Guinness soon with how far he’s sticking his head up his a*s. Worst case, I’ll wait til it’s in a Humble Bundle and give all the money to charity.

  8. I didn’t like that selective slow motion when you kicked enemies (only their movement slowed down, the time was passing normally for the rest of the world). It looked inconsistent and spoiled the satisfaction.

  9. And by the way, I hate when people confuse magazines with clips. It’s like confusing, say, a bookmark with a box.
