Gamescom has just declared the winners for its Best of Gamescom 2014 Awards. As we can see, the big winner is unquestionably Evolve. Risen 3 has won the best role playing game award, while PES 2015 has won the best sports game award. And as you’d expect, Oculus Rift was the winner of best hardware. Yepp, that game is garbage.
I didn’t play yet! But reviews are really poor!
Honestly, the people who attacking it time and time again are not even Risen, Gothic players and that’s why they think the combat is crap. It’s a nicely done game for a small studio, they don’t need to make it appeal to the casual’s who want button smashers.
Angry Joe try to play Risen 3 and failed, he’s just not used to the combat at all, even I didn’t have a problem with the first lsland. LOL.
The games’s art is nice, it’s colourful and vibrant and the PC version destroys the last gen console versions. It’s not as nice as AC4 Black Flag but it’s not dumbed down nowhere near as bad as AC games either. If you think about it AC and Batman combat is just block counter, there is nothing to it, Risen requires timing otherwise you’ll get wasted.
At least they play it first before judging..
Evolve is the best ? Silent Hills is way better than that L4D mods.
Risen 3 over The Witcher 3, Pillars of Eternity or even Dragon Age 3? LOL

What about Divinity? This game deserves first place, not Risen 3 or Gay Age 3…
Evolve does look fun. I hope it’s as popular as L4D2. For years now if I want to enjoy a game in L4D2 it’s no problem – there are always people on – some multiplayer games become a ghost town after a few months.
Excuse me but better simulator game is the Star Citizen, undoubtedly!
